The place is quite comfortable. It's close to downtown and you have plenty of restaurants and businesses around so it's super well. Also there is a metro station 2 minutes from the apartment. We were made a super complete stay except for a situational problem that happened that we were quite uncomfortable, but I think it is not the case for all the rooms. The safety of the place is fine but it could improve as there is no full control over who enters and who does not.

Really great place in a good location. It’s well positioned for any trip to central Berlin or outside. It is very close to the train and the parking on nearby streets is good at the weekend. Local area has bars and good food and easy to move about on. Central Berlin is a 45minute walk through a lot of historical Berlin you’d actually want to visit, with good coffee shops! Clean apartment with three comfy beds. Quiet at night. Was absolutely perfect. Great value for money

Cosy single room in city centre

I especially liked the cleanliness and the tranquility. The room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean. In the kitchen you could find almost everything you need. The equipment with a dishwasher and a microwave made the work there very easy. The sun balcony was great. The very favorable location (within walking distance of the main station and Bauhaus Museum) makes the accommodation even more attractive. The only thing that really bothered me was the automatic door lock and the loud code entry. You have to hear the door slamming (from yourself, but also from everyone on the floor) every time you leave the room, and before entering the room you have to enter the code every time via a keyboard that emits a loud signal with each keystroke. But since I wasn't there in the high tourist season, there weren't as many guests and at some point late at night it stopped. Overall, I found all the services well thought out and would book the hostel again on my next visit.

The room was nice and it has its own private bathroom/shower! Everything seemed clean and the location was not bad. The hostel is right on top of a bar/restaurant and the entrance is through the bar which was a little confusing at the beginning, but the room is on the 2nd floor so there were no issues with the noise. Would recommend if you’re only staying 1-3nights.

We are here for the second time Everything is great. Small note . A couple of groceries in the room would not hurt. With parking, it is somehow not clear. You can not stand on the streets on the rest of the places or private or sign But this issue is solved. I highly recommend Everything is great

Very worth for Berlin, convenient to visit Berlin attractions with public transport and walking. If you like hostel style of tranveling this is great. 24h reception and a good space for lounging and working. The beds have no curtain and the room is for both male and female, so you can take note.

Stayed at Generator in a room by myself for one week and this was an overall great experience. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a cheap but comfortable stay in an ideally placed location. There are great connections with the city public transportation like the U6 the M1 and M5. You can also easily walk to lot of places under 20 minutes like the museums islands, Alexander Platz or the Main station. The room was nice clean and comfortable and looked like the pictures, It could get a bit noisy with the AC but nothing too bothering. The WiFi was good but could get a bit slow at night. There's also everything you need at the hotel and the staff is really helpful.

Best bang for your buck. Quick stay and awesome staff. Clean rooms and everyone seems fine. Easy to make friends.

We had a great stay here for our first trip to Berlin. We planned on arrival to leave our baggage in the luggage room but were happy to find our room was ready for us ahead of time. The staff were lovely, responsive and made our first experience staying in a hostel a great one. Our room came prepared with towels, a hair dryer, fridge, toaster and other bits which was super helpful. The hallway could get a little noisy with people walking past but we spent most of the day/night out so this hardly affected us. The hostel was about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station and area felt generally safe with a couple of supermarkets nearby to grab snacks. We found lots to do in the local area and had beautiful weather which meant we could spend a lot of time in the local market sat by the canal. The bar area wasn’t particularly social but was open all night so was nice to get a few drinks here before heading out. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend!!

Stayed here for one night. this is a great, happening place for short stays for travellers on a budget. It's pretty clean and WCs are fully functional. They offer good breakfast at a reasonable price. Reception folks are really helpful!

Cons: - the location is out of the way. Suggest to get a day tranport card as Berlin need a lot of walking anyway. - the window in the room can only be open ajar, when you cook the smell will be trapped inside Pros - clean - you get to see residential Berlin - there’s a kitchen in my room (not sure about other rooms) - I think the location makes it such that there’s not a lot of non-travellers

it was good its a hostel so just don't expect insane accommodations its really nice though

Cozy, beautiful, lots of character. The staff was very lovely and proactive as well as speaking different languages; available 24/7. Very cute library/ bar, affordable and super delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet right next door. We stayed on the third floor which took us 69 steps to get to, that might be challenging to some. The breakfast buffet requires walking down stairs as well which limits the accessibility. The bathroom was nice and spacious, the beds comfy and furniture wise everything we needed (and more). Lots of options for public transportation close by as well as restaurants and other things. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be coming back! 10/10

Very nice hostel, vegan friendly. there is a kitchen and a common area with tv and playstation. free breakfast and they also offer free dinners and social events pretty much daily I think, as I didn't attend those. Clean bathroom. I was just a it surprised that windows and doors tend to be left open in October and the place was a bit cool. The staff is friendly and very reactive, day or night, via a what's app group. some guests in my room were quite noisy at night as if they were banging on their lockers, but that can't be helped; where there's people there's trouble.
