Strasen itself is a cute place. Especially the Café Landhaus is highly recommended. From Strasen you can easily go in all directions by bike on a journey of discovery and explore the many lakes. We felt very comfortable and in good hands in Burkhard's apartment in the basement. The living room is very cozy and large, the kitchen is very well equipped. In the bathroom there are a lot of towels, the beds are fine. The surroundings are very quiet in winter. If you travel by public transport, you should plan your arrival well - buses rarely run (sometimes not at all on holidays) and sometimes only on request the day before.

The house is much bigger than appears On the pictures and so beautiful! The interior, furniture and surroundings are just perfect and make for a peaceful get away! We came for a family Christmas and I have to say that I was delighted to find the kitchen fully ready to prepare a feast and with every type of utensil and serving tableware that I could ask for! The family are immediately responsive which made us feel secure in our booking! We were 5 adults and 2 dogs and found the bedrooms and beds perfect with enough privacy per person! Thanks for helping us make Wonderful Christmas memories in your beautiful house! 🥰🎄💫

Ruth's place was really nice. It was all there, what you need. The bed could be a little softer. But otherwise we liked the house very much, something very special!! The house is located directly on a lake, which we unfortunately could only use for one day, but that was wonderful. But also the surrounding area offers a lot (zoo in Eberswalde, Bernau, the boat lift...) to ride a bike and enjoy nature. The weather was a bit mixed, but we enjoyed sitting by the warm boller oven in the evening. We felt very comfortable and thank Ruth again for your hospitality!! Martina and Andreas

The house is cozy, warm, and very clean. Our host was incredibly helpful and even took me to town for grocery shopping, which was much appreciated. The location is beautiful, with a scenic forest path leading to the lake just a 10-minute walk away. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat!

Anna's place is the perfect place if you are looking for silence, nature and being on your own! And what makes it a fabulous gem, is that Anna used to have a vegan restaurant in California so she offers home cooked dinner and breakfast in vegetarian or vegan options. Everything she prepares tastes excellent, is not at all small ;-) and the price is more than fair! I can only advise everybody to try them out (on top they arrive as a fancy room service right into your tiny cabin!)

We met there with family and had a very good time. The house has three beautiful rooms away from the bedrooms through which you can easily spread out for various leisure activities. Especially the area upstairs is also very bright and spacious, so we were also able to relax gymnastics and strength sports. The kitchen is so well furnished that we took all the cooking equipment with us for free. If you want to cook well, you will probably be happy. Opposite are a few cute highland cattle.

This place is the best ! If you’re looking for peaceful paradise for family, stop looking, you just found a hidden gem :) We loved everything about the house and the place.

We really enjoyed my stay here! Aurelie was a super responsive and helpful host. The location is good, with a beautiful forest and lake nearby, making it ideal for small hikes and nature walks. The city is also lovely, with a charming old town center that’s worth exploring. The place itself was clean, very comfortable, and perfect for visiting with kids. Having a car is definitely helpful since shops aren’t very close, but overall, it’s a wonderful spot for a family weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

I was visiting an institute in Freidrichschagen so very convenient. It's a very comfortable location, easy to get into central Berlin by train. Apartment was very clean, sunny, well furnished - a good apartment to come home to each day. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive. We would certainly stay again!

We were able to relax for a week. The house is located directly on the only road in town, but there are rarely vehicles passing by. Otherwise, Ahrensberg is a very quiet tranquil village and a ideal starting point for walks, bike rides, canoe trips. The swimming spot, which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes, was also tasted almost every morning:-) Lake Drewensee seemed to us to be one of the quieter lakes in the area. The accommodation offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable! Thanks to Petra and Andreas

High-quality furnished apartment with beautiful views, great beds and good kitchen! We liked it very much.

The location is wonderful. Nearby there is a very nice lake. Björn is very nice, friendly and always helpful. If we needed anything, Björn was very quick to respond. My children and I are very satisfied.

The apartment is modern, well equipped and you feel comfortable. Lots of large windows that can all be darkened. Everything is clean and well maintained. The communication with Rico is great because he gives all the info and describes it with pictures.
