Higly recommending Carolas cabin! Carola is very helpful, friendly and great host! Cabin is in nice place with beautiful surroundings, ca 25 mins from Klövsjö ski resort, 40 mins to Vemdalen and 50 mins to Björnrike. Kitchen with everything you need, bake, cook - everything for all kind of masterpieces. In the first floor there are a kitchen with dinner table for 6-8 seats, bedroom with two floors bed, bathroom with toilet and shower and a living room with sofa bed, fireplace and huge TV! On the second floor there are master bedroom with comfy double bed and one single as well as one more living room with huge sofa. In the property there is even second house there are sauna house with shower and extra separate bedroom with 2 single beds which can be as a one double.

Very nice accommodation, very peaceful. Also think it's super nice in the summer to stay so close to the water. Would recommend. // Magnus

Amazing house, completely brand new with modern furniture. Numerous rooms and every corner of the house had a warm welcoming touch. Would highly recommend to any traveller passing by Kälarne. Happy I picked such an amazing place to stay!

Very good for a price

Such a lovely stay in Monica's cottage offering everything you need for a convenient stay! It was so idyllic, just a few steps from the lake you could ski on on that sunny Sunday. It's located at the end of a small dead-end road, so there is no traffic, just quietness. My host was so friendly and available to me all the time. Definitively have to come back. Tack ☺️

I had a nice stay at the horse yard! It was calm and is wonderful for dog walks. In the center of Östersund you are for 10 minutes! Absolutely pefect. Loving decor and great view I liked the most.

We had a lovely winter stay in the stuga of Jessica and Falco. A beautiful place to relax, in the middle of nature but also close to the city of Östersund. A comfortable house with sauna on the lake. We would have wanted to stay here, but I'm sure we'll be back.

Certainly one of our best Airbnb stays so far! Eveline went above and beyond what's required to make us feel welcome, providing very helpful local tips and anything we needed, really. It felt more like visiting a friend than staying in Airbnb. At the same time we had a nice private unit with a veranda and were never disturbed by anything there. On the contrary, it was very quiet and cozy, warm with a real fireplace. Ah yes and we saw Auroras directly above us in the backyard in their full glory! (Admittedly, we got a bit lucky there.) The place is a couple of minutes away on foot from a beautiful lake which is great for ice-skating. Besides that, there are nice back-country ski runs through the forest that are reachable. We traveled everywhere by public transport (mainly bus) and while connections to and within the city are fine, going elsewhere required planning as buses are infrequent. A car would be more convenient, but in the winter one should be prepared to drive on snow/ice.

Wonderful stay at Inger's place. The place was very nice and the surroundings surrounded by nature quite what we needed. Inger and her husband were adorable with recommendations and always attentive. Many activities in the area. It was a lovely stay.
