Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Bovey Tracey

We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

The perfect location for a family Christmas. We all had space and the communal areas were ideal. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! We all loved getting the ferry across to Dartmouth - lots to do. Our dog had a great time too - lovely walks and pub friendly pubs. Our fav local pub was the Steamed Packet. Thanks Mark for being so attentive ❤️

Third stay in this very special house- another Christmas weekend to celebrate and enjoy as a family. We find it luxurious and comfortable to unwind in with the gorgeous kitchen, spacious bedrooms and wonderful hot tub overlooking the Devon countryside. This is a fantastic property for adults and children alike, again we have played pool, watched oodles of movies and slept like royalty! We love coming here and soaking up the relaxing atmosphere. Big thanks again to our hosts who are always responsive and kind. Can’t wait for the next visit!!

Fantastic place warm and cosy despite the wet weather. We loved Kingsbridge and we were so well looked after by Andy who offered to take us and pick us up when we went out and made sure the hot tub was at the perfect temperate each evening! We have been lucky to stay in some amazing places all over the world and this is right up there with the best of them! We loved Kingsbridge lots of great places to eat and drink on the doorstep. The Crabshell inn was a favourite lovely food and atmosphere on a wet mid week evening in Jan! We will def be back.

We had a fantastic Christmas holiday with family here. Loved the beautiful views from the living room. All nicely laid out with stair gate, high chair and cot all as requested. Delighted by the lit and decorated Christmas tree and welcome surprise of a cream tea on arrival.

Beautiful high standard accommodation in very peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous Christmas tree and a bottle of Prosecco left for us. Would highly recommend. Great hot tub and log burner. All round gorgeous place and would definitely return.

What a beautiful home from home! We loved our stay at this cottage, especially the log burner, pool table and hot tub. We did some lovely walks (recommend the canal towpath at Tiverton) and visited local pubs. The cottage was just as described and in the pictures. Communication was excellent. What a relaxing stay! We can't recommend this place enough, and we'd love to go back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Combe Villa! It was the perfect retreat for our group of six plus a dog, offering everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The house was immaculately clean from top to bottom, and it’s clear that Simon has thoughtfully considered every detail to make guests feel at home. The layout of the house is ideal for both socializing and relaxing, with plenty of space to gather as a group or enjoy some chill time. We particularly enjoyed the spotless hot tub. The games room was a fantastic addition – complete with a great TV setup and bar that we made full use of. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with every utensil and appliance you could possibly need. What really stood out was how warm and welcoming the house felt – not just in terms of temperature, but in the attention to detail throughout. Everything was so thoughtfully done, making it one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Combe Villa.

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

very nice, clean, bright, and spacious area! dog friendly, which was great for us. Our dog was able to roam around freely and relax in different rooms without strangers as there were so many rooms to spend time I'm away from your bedroom. Anthony was very friendly, very responsive over app, and great with our dog who can be nervous around men. hottub was a great addition. no issues here! depending on the guests who stay with you depends on how loud or quiet the communal area is at night, we had a family playing muical doors at 10pm each night, but was very quiet and peaceful once everyone settled. Good location to travel around Devon! would definitely recommend it!

Antony was amazing host ,very respectful and understanding , I will definitely recommend who is looking for quite and relaxing place to stay . Place is very looked after and can be more than 5 star rated hotels ,as long you ok to comunicate with some pll who is sharing it perfect it can get a bit uncofortable for those who is looking proper isolation . Looking forward to stay there again . Thank you :)

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

Lovely few days away in the lodge with my family. Really well kitted out, the lodge did get hot which was explained before arrival. Really private location and the park is really clean and everything located nearby to the lodge Really easy to check in and the app to gain access and use throughout the stay was really easy to use Had a fabulous time and would definitely stay again

We had the best time, I am not a camper so was a little worried but intrigued and it was not a disappointment. This is luxurious with the little camping parts added in. The outdoor baths were a dream even in Oct/Nov. The accommodation spotless and Kylie the host so friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to visit again.

Me my partner and our two dogs completely enjoyed our stay!! Everything was just perfect. We needed more time to relax. Most certainly want to come back again for longer next time! ❤️

Had a lovely couple of nights at the lodge, great location for Plymouth where we were meeting friends, lodge is in beautiful location, very peaceful, nicely furnished, cosy, loved the hot tub! Would stay again.

We spent a lovely weekend with Phil. Everything we asked of them as hosts they were there in a heartbeat and with a smile. Beautiful place, a bit off the beaten track, but that meant peace and quiet. Sheep, horses, goats and rabbits to see around. Hot tub was lovely, log fuelled which was new! Everything was new and clean. Very happy with our stay and would definitely consider returning.

Jess is highly communicative, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The cabin is just a 3-minute walk from the parking area. It was lovely and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows to choose from. The peaceful surroundings ensured a great night's sleep. There are several pubs within a 5-minute drive, and Exeter Quay is only 10-15 minutes away by car. I would definitely recommend Jess's cabin!
