Very nice stay and very nice house. Small downside for black garbage cans where you have to pay €5 (but it is the municipality that imposes it for the reduction of waste)

When you get to the cottage in a small lane you get in through a barn door. Behind the door is a little treasure. The way Anne has designed the interior you feel right at home. Downstairs is an open kitchen / lounge that is both cosy and functional. The decorations and choice of items in the kitchen shows a flair for design and care of details. We cooked a meal from scratch and the kitchen has everything needed. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs is comfortable and cosy with old beams holding up a the roof. The cottage is in a small village with all the essentials such as a bakery and a surprisingly well stocked grocery store within 5 minutes walk. The day after we arrived there was a brocante on the village square. You find two sign posted walks starting in the village, both 2-3 hours long through the woods and fields. It is possible to cut short one of the walks to 1 hour. Parking was easy 50 meters from the cottage with plenty of space after dropping off our luggage.
