It is no wonder Yassir is a Superhost! I couldn't have been happier with my stay here. We only had fragments of language in common, but communication online or in person was easy, and replies were rapid. He picked me up in the centre and drove me to the apartment. It's in a lovely, quiet area. Yassir and his family live next door, which is ideal for a solo female traveller. All you hear is birdsong, the sea, and children playing in the street. I don't think I've ever been in a cleaner house - I think my mum and Yassir's mum would get on well! There's a supermarket and bakery a few minutes' walk away, and it's about 15 minutes walk to the market and restaurants in the village. If you swim, it's ideal - the beach is about two minutes' away. I loved Oued Laou out of season, it was just perfect. Such a peaceful place, such lovely, kind people. If you're coming this way, do not hesitate to book one of Yassir's properties. Shukran hoya! I really hope to return one day :)

Ghizlane was a fantastic host and was very kind from the start. She speaks very good English and French so it was easy to communicate. Ghizlane was always very responsive and helpful. The apartment was better than it looked in the photos as it’s slightly larger in real life. There’s plenty of security in the area which made things very easy alongside the ample parking. It’s helpful to have a car but there are shops and restaurants at walking distance, but it’s better to have a car. The apartment was very clean and filled with everything you need. The internet isn’t the strongest so it’s advised to have your own data if you need constant online video conferencing. There’s a co-working spot nearby with fibre optic internet if you need, at a very affordable price also which I used throughout my stay. Thank you Ghizlane
