We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. The addition of turf for the fires which we lit easily was wonderful. Comfortable cosy bedrooms and bedding. Peaceful, stress free and a beautiful cottage and orchard.

Lovely cottage full of character in a remote and peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. The place had everything we needed for our short stay. Martina kindly provided some essentials for our arrival, and was a helpful host throughout.

The apartment is much bigger than you can imagine with the photos. In addition, there is a large garden available. Breda and Joe are very welcoming despite the problem of our ignorance of English. The GPS coordinates were greatly used to get there, more than the description. The price is very good. it's in the lowest in the whole area. It's true that to reach a city, it's a few miles to go. For geocachers, it's a good start for GC43 if you have a day or two in front of you .

Eileen and Hugh’s place is a peaceful, beautiful paradise on the River Barrow. We watched the morning mist burn away as the songbirds sang good mornings. We were thrilled to find Eileen’s exceptional scones for our first breakfast, along with local raspberry jam and honey. She even shared her scone recipe with my travel buddy. Delicious and delightful! The kitchen was the most well-appointed I’ve encountered in a rental home. The linens were crisp and lovely, the beds comfy, and the bathrooms very nice. Hugh graciously lit our first fire, then took us out in the fields to see their cows and meet their horse. We loved our stay there! The beautiful weather made it even better. You’ll be glad you booked this little slice of paradise!
