Suite deck and Babmar Daybed areas are like being in a tree house overlooking the entire lake and entire Cuyamaca Area. Private Suite deck among trees with unobstructed views. Fully fenced lawn area w/ fire pit.The Daybed area is on a separate Hexagon deck in the middle of trees and it has a waterfall stream flowing beneath it. Polished wood floors, granite counters in the kitchen area, and plush amenities. Views are like staring at a painting. Quality throughout. The Jewel of Cuyamaca Resort.

A lovely experience. Well-located near Julian, Cuyamaca, Anza-Borrego. Beautiful architecture up on a hill above the 79. Easily the best-stocked Airbnb we have ever rented: pots, pans, dishware, spices, soaps, firewood, lots of towels, etc. Detailed directions. Everything worked! Would return for sure. One thing to know: the upstairs bedroom with the many beds is an open loft, so you hear everything from downstairs, and noise passes easily between the two downstairs bedrooms. Lovely spaces, but limited privacy.

It was a lovely stay. Herve is very responsive. The photos are accurate. He has extra blankets and pillows. The local general store down the street doesn't have much for groceries, mostly drinks, so I recommend bringing what you'd like for groceries or finding a different store. It was a great stay and I'd stay here again.

We loved our stay at Casa Colibri! It was everything we were looking for in our visit to Anza Borrego SP. We liked the outdoor living area. Even though the temps were unseasonably high during our stay, the covered porch area made it comfortable to sit outside. My older kids enjoyed the dart board in the garage. This and the board games were a great way to pass the hottest time of day! We also appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. This was a great spot for a desert getaway in a lesser traveled area. The house was very well decorated and comfortable. We were able to go on a hike and visit the little town but also come back and relax while cooking some basics. Great spot, thank you!

This is a great place for a quiet getaway. I stayed here to do some writing and it was perfect for that. Lana was very communicative and helpful. She even messaged me during my stay to see if I needed refills -- great coffee setup by the way. If you're headed down to Valley Center, I recommend the Yellow Cafe. If you want some time in a desolate place, Anza Borrego desert is just an hour away. Thank you, Lana!

Me and my wife absolutely loved this place, especially since we have a toddler. The place is very optimized for it. There is nothing to break at the reach of the toddler so I don't have to be careful all the time. There are some toys and the play structure outside is super fun and so convenient. There's even a toddler table! And the crib came in so handy. There are even black-out blinds in the toddler room so I didn't have to use my black-out curtains. The place is so homey and we enjoyed the fireplace. The patio is so wonderful and peaceful. We had a great time!
