Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Borough of Tameside

Sarah and Tim were fantastic hosts, everything about the accommodation was well thought out and spotless. We needed a bolt hole while our house was under renovation and this place was perfect! Brilliant views of open countryside and the Manchester skyline. Great walks, fab food and drink all on your doorstep. Thanks for having us Sarah and Tim👍

My friends and I really really enjoyed our stay. It absolutely chucked it down while we were here, but we got to spend a little time outside on the decking and grass. The spot is absolutely beautiful, waking up to the lake and the early sun was wonderful. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They popped round when we first checked in as we had some questions but then left us to it once we had things sorted. Everything was clean and comfortable. We very very comfortably slept 6, with only 2 people having to share a sleeping space and the 2 bathrooms so there wasn't much of a queue in the mornings. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

We’d return to Corinnes place, lovely stay, very homely and perfect for visiting a friend in Manchester - Close to shops and cosy/comfy indoors - could’ve stayed in the house all weekend, visited during a storm!

We have just had a perfect retreat at Michelle’s stunning home. It is a 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Marsden with several good pubs and restaurants and a fantastic gastropub that we visited twice, The Riverhead Brewery Tap. After an exciting time in town at a friends wedding we went back to peace and quiet a very short walk away. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house was spotless. There is a handy parking ramp adjacent to the house with a gate, if you are precious about your wheels, and a private garden out the back which is a perfect sun-trap if you need some fresh air after a long drive. Also, there is a very good, powerful shower on the first floor which was perfect to revive ourselves before a night on the town. We arrived to find milk in the fridge for much needed cups of tea and crumpets, butter and jam for breakfast which felt like a treat. We will happily return.

Absolutely Love this cottage. Like a fairytale cottage amongst the most beautiful grounds. Brian and Judy are lovely and even left more fire logs for us on our return from a day out at chester, most appreciated as we love the open fire. Thank you so much for letting us stay, so peaceful. It was much needed , many many thanks Karen and Paul and of course George loved it.

This is the most beautiful place to stay. It is obviously Chris‘s precious home and it was a privilege to stay there. We couldn’t believe the splendour and we would definitely book this Airbnb again. Chris was the most proactive, helpful and kind host And we are very grateful.

Great centrally located accommodation with excellent communication throughout. Lock box key collection was great. Property is on a main road which should be taken into account but great stay.

Michelle’s ‘double’ apartment was just perfect for three work colleagues to stay whilst working at a nearby exhibition centre which was just a few minutes walk away. Fabulous decor, fittings and furniture! Wonderful restaurants in the immediate area. Great comms and local info from Michelle. Highly recommended.

It was my daughter and her partner that stayed. They really enjoyed their stay. This is such a lovely place. Host very friendly and very welcoming could do enough. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and the fire pit looked lovely when lit. would definitely recomend. Millie said she had a great stay and said thank you.

We have booked various airbnbs over the years and without question this is my favourite. Our hosts were great communicators and helpful with check in/ local recommendations. The apartment was clean and very very well equipped. It’s clear they have spent a lot of money to kit it out to a high level. The kitchen was full of thoughtful little touches ( including a couple of delicious brownies and breakfast bits) and a nice coffee machine. The large copper bath and walk in shower were treats and the bed was very comfy. Parking was directly adjacent to the property which took any stress out of finding a parking spot. The location was perfect and we ate at the LeadStation ( breakfast) and Casa De Moor (Dinner) both on Beech Road. Both were lovely - Casa De Moor in particular. The area was really unique, safe, cosmopolitan and a quick, easy tram ride into the city. We are already planning our return!

Booked for a client , really helpful host and lovey property

This is the second time we have stayed at The Old Post Office which is ideally located for us to meet up with relatives and friends. On this visit, it was for a family occasion. The cottage has all the facilities you could wish for, it is cosy and in a quiet ideal position. It is also opposite Bolster Moor Farm Shop and Cafe which is great for meals and any supplies you may need. Mike is a helpful host should you need any advice, or anything.
