Vacation rentals with lake access in Borough of Harrogate

This was our second stay at Dove Cottage. We came back for more as our first stay was so perfect. A lovely romantic or family getaway.

Absolutely loved our accommodation, the photos were spot on. Joanne was a such a friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for a weekend in August 2024 for a birthday celebration. Mixed ages from 9m to 70 plus one cocker spaniel. We all had a fantastic time, especially the spaniel! The house and gardens are beautiful and we went for a walk each evening around the wetlands. House is superbly stocked with top quality items ie pots and pans, massive fridge freezer, surround sound, games etc. We have stayed in many AirBnbs as a family but all agreed this was one of the best. We would love to stay again someday. Carolyn and Steve were excellent hosts, always on hand to help with any questions and even allowed a much earlier check in which was appreciated. If this place is available, book it!

The most amazing house I have been, even my daughters wouldn't want to leave the place and even dream of having the same house and place in their life.

Beautiful lodge, with everything we needed. Amazing place to spend Christmas, so relaxing and just what we needed. Can’t fault anything and would love to return ☺️

A fantastic property in a tranquil spot on the waters edge. Great walks nearby. This property was spotless and Abi the host has clearly thought carefully about how to provide a homely yet practical space. Great bathrooms and kitchen. Picture windows from the lounge and main bedroom. Plenty of parking space with amenities nearby.

Vanessa was a very friendly and welcoming host. She was flexible and ensured our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for the night very clean and tidy when we first arrived we got a bit lost but host responded straight away and guided us

Edris was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond. We felt very welcome and had more than we needed. The chocolate treats to go with a cuppa were very much appreciated as well as the blueberries. We felt very much at home with lots of cuddles from Sunrise (the cat). We had full use of the kitchen and living area, with a very comfortable bed. The bus stop was right outside the apartment, making links to the city really easy and accessible. Edris was quick to respond to messages and was lovely to chat to. We loved our stay!

We had such a lovely stay at the Mews. It was a beautiful and peaceful location with easy access to the York Sculpture Park and the M1 for day trips in the area. The apartment had everything we needed to make us feel at home for 4 days.

Great little apartment. just what we needed for an overnight stay. Tea and Coffee a nice touch. previous reviews mentioned lack of a bathroom mirror, this has now been rectified. heating easy to adjust as required. it is on a busy road, but this would really only affect people staying on the sofa bed in the lounge area. 5min walk to local pub and 15min walk to nearest village. would stay again.

A really lovely apartment, perfectly located on Yarm High Street. Gareth was a brilliant host, very responsive, the apartment was just as in the pictures would 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommend & will definitely book again 🎄

There was good communication prior to us arriving. The apartment was spotless, seems very new, everything was comfortable. Loads of space! There were four of us and it was anything but cramped. Even with double the number of people it would still feel extremely spacious. Amazing view from the balcony - we didn't go in summer but would be amazing to sit out there in the sunshine! You're quite near a main road but you don't hear it and it means you've got easy access to the towns, villages and countryside nearby. Perfect if you want to explore. If we're back in the area we'd definitely check to see if the apartment is available. Highly recommended.

Beebole Cottage is a cosy cottage full of character, well equipped, with added extras such as milk, shortbread biscuits, oil to cook with, salt and pepper, tea and coffee. It has an easy heating system, wood burner and a sunny place to sit in the garden. It’s off the beaten track with good walking and easy access to all parts of the Dales.

Good views from accommodation, good walks right outside & really nice place to stay & explore Definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Sylvia was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was beautiful, extremely clean with beautiful views!! We absolutely loved it and will be returning in the future! Our friends and family are also looking to book after seeing our pictures :)

A gorgeous cosy, modern cottage with an amazing view and lovely walks on the doorstep. Pately bridge is close enough to walk into for a coffee / meal or supplies and there is a wonderful pub in Wath, also walking distance along the river. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thanks for the recommendation for eateries Chris and Mel 😊

What a lovely property! Easy check in and check out. Emma and Pete were perfect hosts and very responsive. Having a parking space was great. Location was perfect for some lovely walks and access to local towns and attractions. The cottage itself was well-equipped and maintained. The facilities and kitchen were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean and well laid out. We had a great time and would like to visit this cottage again. It is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.. Thank you Emma and Pete for a great holiday!

We had the most memorable Christmas staying in Debbie's beautiful cottage. It was Cosy and homely and the views were stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our xmas dinner and the log fire added extra ambience. The location was perfect for visiting Disley Reservoir and for climbing to the top of the hills and looking down at Holmfirth and seeing livestock. Onix our dog loved the walks and really enjoyed the stay. The beds were so comfortable with soft linen for restful sleep after exploring. The summer house at the bottom of the garden created the perfect place to sit and watch the river and ducks. I would highly recommend this cottage and the location. There are great pubs and restaurants in walking distance and we did not need to use our car once. Debbie provided great information on check in process and her instruction manual for the home answered all our queries. We will be telling all our friends about Debbie's cottage and hope to stay again in the Summer.

Me and a friend stayed at this gorgeous place over Christmas. It was a special trip and Katy could not have been more accommodating and helpful! The place was beautifully kitted out with lovely decor, comfy beds and all listed amenities, it was a breeze to find and access, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas break. There is a fantastic walk along the river right by the place, and we enjoyed a stunning boxing day walk. It was utterly soul healing! Would 100% recommend staying here. If I'm ever up that way again, would definitely stay again 🌷❤️🌷
