My husband and I had a lovely stay at the cottage. It had everything we needed and was short driving distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping.

This house was great for a month! It was very clean and had all the essentials in the kitchen. The screened in patio was great to relax in. Bed was super comfortable. The only issues we had was the couch. It wasn't very comfy and the cushions would sink. Also the pillows on there had a body odor stink. There is no dedicated workplace either. We had monitors on the kitchen bar area which worked but there are no desks. All in all I would highly recommend this place! Great location, close to downtown Southport and Oak Island Beach. Plenty of restaurants!

Kate's Place has been my go to place to stay when vacationing in Southport. Kate is a thoughtful and friendly Host. Kate's Place is perfectly located from downtown Southport, the Ferry to nearby Bald Head Island and Wilmington. It is only a short drive to Oak Island. Kate's Place is a perfect place for a single visitor. I always feel right at home.

House was beautiful and clean ducked off in a nice quiet neighborhood. Smooth and easy check-in while having a binder at the door with everything listed one would need to know from house rules, check in/out process, amenities, local beaches, restaurants, stores, and even beaches! Along with local emergency services following. Great place to stay and 100% recommend, will definitely visit again!
