Monthly Rentals in Bolivar

The place was terrific - the fire pit in the back was a hit, but it wasn't quite cold enough to use the fireplaces in each room. Zoar itself is a gem, but Jon's place made it even easier to enjoy. Thanks!

This was a beautiful Airbnb and very unique. Things we weren’t expecting was the attention to detail. The rooms were beautiful and each bed was made with towels and a chocolate, which was so cute. The kitchen was the most stocked I’ve ever seen at an abnb except there were wine glasses, but no wine opener. We ended up getting one and donating it to the house, but that was a little stressful. Lol Plenty to do and well accommodated for families with kids. One negative was the thermostat. We stayed for new years 2024 to 2025. The upstairs and downstairs have two separate thermostats. The downstairs one seemed to work fine, but the upstairs one was at 50degrees when we arrived so naturally it’s December so we turned it up. It continuously did an auto reset to 50 every night “freezing” and we didn’t know it was happening until it was basically time to leave. Not sure why and we couldn’t fix it, but all in all an amazing place to stay 10/10 would recommend! But need to fix the thermostat:)

Great weekend stay for our two adults and two children! Only 15 minutes from our soccer games at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The house is absolutely adorable; the decor and furnishings are great, the coffee bar is such a thoughtful addition, and everything was clean and well cared for. Hot tub was a fun bonus! Bolivar is a quiet town; highly recommend breakfast at Canal Street Diner, a VERY short walk from the house. We will be back :)

The schoolmasters house was not only very clean, comfortable and so aesthetically beautiful designed but also you feel right home when you come inside. It’s warm, cozy and loving. You can feel the history all around you. Pete had EVERYTHING you could ever need or want. He has complementary drinks, snacks, coffee, ice and bedroom and bathroom (medical) necessities. He made sure you don’t just feel like you are a visitor but a treasured guest of this historic place. Thank you for letting us enjoy Valentine’s Day at your wonderful house. To get away from the big cities and push a pause button and recharge and relax at your place.
