Ralf was quick and proactive in responding to our enquiries and requests. Floor heating in bathroom is a pleasant surprise. Rooms are big which was a big plus. Showering space was narrow and need self-clean-up on water on the floor before you can use the toilet again. Expect to hear other residents walking on the stairs, and occasional chatters from neighbors. Overall great value for money.

The apartment is very quiet, surrounded by meadows and various animals, such as horses, chickens and rabbits. The amenities are ok, but could get a little better, e.g. I was missing a toaster. Which also lacked that you couldn't really darken the bedroom and that in one of the bedrooms there was no closet to accommodate your clothes, just a wooden shelf. The Wi-Fi was very shaky, sometimes unfortunately no reception. But the landlords were always approachable and tried to help.

Our time at Petra's was wonderful. We felt right at home and were warmly welcomed. The yard is a little idyll and definitely perfect for a holiday. The Airbnb has plenty of space and extra comfy beds. You can get to Hamburg quickly by train and thanks to Thomas' recommendations we have seen many beautiful places. A holiday with such attentive and good hosts is worth gold. We will definitely be back!
