I had a wonderful stay at Mary’s place in New York! The space is perfect for two; I had shared my journey with my friend Ludovico, and there are two big beds. The apartment was spotless and cosy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Mary was an attentive and friendly host, always quick to respond and helpful with any questions. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and we felt right at home. We highly recommend Mary’s place to anyone looking for a great stay in New York! We stayed at Ken’s place for the summer and had a great time! The home is super well kept and comfortable, with modern amenities and ample space. It’s unusual to find such a place in New York City! Cobble Hill is the cutest neighborhood, safe and walkable with plenty of restaurants and bars. The F and G stations are within a 7-8 minute walk away, and take you to most places. Ken is very responsive and helpful! Overall, highly recommend this place for an easy and memorable stay.

I spent the month of November under Triada's roof, in the sweet apartment within her beautiful Brooklyn brownstone in Carroll Gardens. The apartment had huge windows with an original parlour mirror in between them, and although it is only a few steps to the subway and a bus and many shops and restaurants in this lovely neighbourhood, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night and I had great sleeps in the comfortable bed. I was out all day every day so did not need to use the kitchen, but if anyone would like to cook they would be well equipped to do so, and there is a good-sized fridge to keep perishables in. Triada and her son Liam are wonderful, kind people, and although the apartment is self-contained and private, it was nice to know they were available if need be. I really had a wonderful stay there!

Great spot — cozy, matched the description, cool area nearby restaurants, grocery stores, cafés, etc. Iwona was a wonderful host. She was always super responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place around Park Slope/Gowanus!
