We had a lovely stay in Onancock, this was our second time in this town, though first in this home - we love how walkable this location is, being on market street. We arrived late, but thankfully found that the Onancock Tap House was still open and serving - we got there with a couple of minutes to spare until their kitchen closed and they were super nice; the Old Bay wings are amazing! We had a lovely quiet stay for the long weekend, cooked at home for some meals in the well-equipped kitchen; went for walks around the town, down to the farmers market, shopped at antique stores. The house is very quaint and livable - we were only 2 so just used the downstairs. (One thing to be aware of: bring eye masks if you are a light sleeper/ need darkness, the window treatments do not block much light.)

Oooohhh! I LOVE The Little Red House! This is the 2nd time I’ve gone, and arriving it felt like coming home. Mona is a perfect host — friendly, organized, thoughtful! And the place was truly spotless. I love sitting by the fire pit, gazing at the sky full of stars, and the location is perfect — peaceful — the little house sits on a 50 acre farm, just minutes from all the resources of town. This time, I brought my doggie, and Mona even had a pottery bowl labeled DOG with paw prints on the floor for her. The Little Red House is one of my happy places. I know I will return again and again.

Anna"s place was great! She greeted our family when we arrived and the suite was amazing. Our family enjoyed our stay.

Cottage has been maintained with care; it is not just clean; it’s meticulously clean. Quiet? it's on a road where a car passes every 20 minutes. Short trips for grocery shopping and coffee? Food Lion 7-8 minutes. Coffee shop 9 minutes at the Four Corners Shopping center. Off street parking? Gravel driveway into property. Security? A security light is on a pole. Laundry room with full size washer & dryer next to 50 gal water tank. 63 hangers in 3 closets, 23 drawers in the rooms. Convenient outlets for recharging iPhones. Tub & shower w/ wand. Sliding opaque glass door glides easily. Bath has outlet & small table with/drawer that keeps toiletries together. 9 extra thick fluffy towels + beach towels, three 28 oz. Shampoos. 16.5 cu ft reefer with cubed/crushed ice in door, 9 cu ft freezer with ice maker, microwave, Keurig pods + drip coffee, condiments, blender, toaster, spatulas, multiple channels and streaming options, books cleaning gear, laundry basket, iron, folding drying rack...
