We had a wonderful and quiet week in the pretty house. The house is large , modern, cozy and we slept very well. Nothing is missing. The garden overlooking the water is beautiful. We had our bikes with us, so we were very flexible and could easily reach swimming spots, fishing spots, the island of Oknö or restaurants. Thank you for everything.

Our stay at the house was absolutely perfect! The serene Swedish countryside setting is the ideal backdrop for this beautifully renovated home. Some of our favorite things regarding our stay was the well-equipped kitchen which made cooking a joy, the high-quality beds and furniture around the house and the peaceful outdoor spaces where we could relax and take in the stunning surroundings. The communication with the host was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. This retreat is perfect for anyone seeking a tranquil escape. We can't recommend it enough and can’t wait to return for a longer stay next summer!

Beautiful property by the river and lake in Alseda

We were there for 1 week in winter. The reception was very friendly; a flexible check-in was possible. The house was warm & cozy; there was plenty of excellent firewood. We were able to hike and jog directly from the house in the beautiful surrounding recreational area on the lake. We also enjoyed sauna and gym very much. Particularly outstanding was a tour to a nearby old copper mine with adjoining campfire and coffee/tea/cinnamon rolls with host Jonas. We can only recommend a stay!

There were nine of us and there was plenty of room and sleeping options. There was everything needed to cook and there was a great barbecue. The house has become well warm, especially with the fireplace. Highly recommended for a holiday with several people. We had a fantastic time and thank you for the accommodation.

Nice and warm house

Rosa's house is a very nice place to stay in a quiet location with an extremely nice neighbor. We stayed there for 4 nights and would have liked to have stayed longer. The place is centrally located, so you can do a lot on relatively short distances. We will be happy to come back.

Great archipelago home

Per's house is in a perfect location and in close proximity to the beautiful town of Västervik. Home is just as described in the photos. You can attach your boat to the private dock and enjoy the sauna with a perfect view right on the water. The view from the beautiful terrace makes every breakfast perfect. Per was super nice and likeable, helpful at all times and very quickly accessible. Thank you for everything. We already miss the house and can only recommend it!

Great, modern and lively house in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from city center. Friendly and generous hosts, we were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the time was hardly enough to explore everything in the area. Highly recommend.

There were three of us for 1 week (2 adults+ 1 child 10 years) at Birgitta's. A fantastic place to relax and feel good directly at the lake. We had a canoe we could use, 2 hammocks, large trampoline and grill. Birgitta lives with her family and 3 cute cats right next door and was always very nice and helpful if we had any questions. The nearest place where we could shop is Atvidaberg, about 15 minutes away. We 100% recommend the place and Birgitta as a host. We had a very relaxing stay here. The house is space and comfortable. Nice walk to the lake where we were just taking the rowing boat and had a swim. Assi was friendly and helpful and the farm dogs playful.

Very nice modern accommodation in a wonderful nature quiet location on the Baltic Sea. Beautiful island with fantastically beautiful shores and views of upstream small islands and the sea. Romantic forest trails along the shore that invite you to walk and jog. Absolutely recommended for peace-seeking family vacations.
