House vacation rentals in Blackmans Bay

This property was so good that we have come back for another family get together, the property is so perfect, with everything you could wish for. We cant wait to come back for another visit. Jason is so friendly & helpful.

A spacious beautiful home with everything you need for a great stay. The bedrooms and living spaces are all large and comfortable. The surrounding bushland is lovely and the spa is just an added touch to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. The local rooster did like to wake us up early but we didn’t mind it, just added to the ambiance. Lots of local wildlife in the close vicinity.

The holiday home was situated overlooking the Derwent River and mountains. You are able to while away hours watching the cruise ships berthing. The home itself is well appointed with most things required to self cater. Furniture is stylish and pleasant to be around. A second living area in the basement allows children and adults element of privacy. Wifi and Netflix available.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

The view is amazing with a lovely pool and spa. Having two living spaces was great to allow people to do their own things. Very comfortable beds. Bill was great getting back to us with any questions.

The view of the water and city was spectacular; we absolutely loved our stay there. The massive indoor pool and games area were fantastic for the kids as well. There was plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. Definitely recommend.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Beautiful part of Hobart and really quiet. Great place to stay.

a lovely house located right at the beach front, well spacious to accommodate the big family, loved the beach walk at sunset and morning coffee on the deck. Owner's more than friendly to offer real flexible check-in and outs, clear instructions too helping us navigate our way through, great experience here

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Shane's accommodation. The house was clean and tidy. We were able to check in earlier than expected and our check in was very easy with Shane's instructions. Although we were out most of the day, when we came back to the house, it felt like a home away from home. Very cosy!!

Farida's house is amazing! It has a spacious layout and offers breathtaking views. Staying there feels just like being at a resort—so relaxing! I highly recommend her place.

Very happy with our time at the Glebe Emporium. Location was excellent just 15 min walk to the harbour. Loved that there were some breakfast supplies as it took the pressure off as arrived the evening before. Woolies and BWS for supplies are a 5 min walk. Beware Glebe is hilly. This was not an issue for us but might be for some. Highly recommend The Tasmanian Inn also 5 min walk away.

Bridgecroft House was a fabulous place for our family to get together for a weekend. It was roomy, well set out and extras like breakfast items and a great coffee machine made it easy to move in. The home was private , clean and we loved using the wood fired pizza oven for dinner one night. The spa was also enjoyed and a few games of eight ball set the tone for a fun time had by all.

Very spacious accommodation with huge wardrobes in the bedrooms allowing us to put all our cases and contents away properly out of sight. We had everything we required and everywhere was clean, except I would suggest that Teresa checks that her cleaner is keeping on top of things, especially in the kitchen (dead flies on the windowsill and top of the facias (drawers) need a wipe down. Location was absolutely perfect in a lovely neighbourhood with easy access to shops and a lovely restaurant. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

We loved the house here across the road from the beach , the quieter end of the road. House was lovely & clean, just little issues with the remotes on two of the tvs but reported & hopefully will be rectified .. especially with tennis on 😜 .. we would stay again , great place for children too ,

This is the second time I have stayed it’s a great location View to the mountain while eating breakfast is fantastic but no snow this trip hoping for dusting of snow next trip in may enjoy the walk to the supermarket ( 5 mins ) What can you say the pinball machines keep you busy great father and son activity Once again many thanks tony always available for help if you need it

Shelley left us a bottle wine and chocolates and kept us informed when repairs had to be done on a faulty air conditioner as well as another bottle of wine. Very pleasant lady to deal with. Cheers Rena and John

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Battery Point, Hobart. The Airbnb was cozy, well-appointed, and within walking distance of fantastic cafes and restaurants. Our host, Richard, was very welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. We highly recommend Battery Point for its blend of history and modern conveniences. Looking forward to staying at the property again.

Angela’s holiday home is exactly that a home away from home . The feeling of simple shack/ holiday life but with attention to every detail is evident from the opening of the door . As the classical music played the sense of relaxation begins …… The extensive open plan kitchen , living , dining extends out to wonderful outdoor living deck space with wonderful vista amongst the agapanthas and yachts bobbing in the bay below … The beach is right in front of the shack a few mins walk with crystal clear water from Fredrick Henry Bay. Guests have an enormous garden and bbq Patio area soaking with summer sun and the added company of a Terra Cotta Warrior standing amongst the foliage . Each bedroom has superb linens / soft pillows /incredibly comfortable beds & rugs and electric blankets for those cooler Southern coastal nights . The art work amongst the whole of the house brings a feel of nostalgia- great water pressure beautiful books. Highlight separate retreat games reading room 10/10

We have stayed at the Provider House twice now, with a car it is an easy drive in and out of Hobart. Always wonderful to return to the peace and quiet of Lenah Valley and this house. We have spent time in Japan and our stays here feel like a continuum of that experience. When visiting be sure to allocate time to actually enjoy the house, we loved it. J & M

The house was in a great location - close to the CBD, shops and playgrounds. It was spacious and had a wonderful outdoor area for us to enjoy meals.

Had a great short stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

The house is just gorgeous & in a great location. In fitting with the age of the house, the stairs, floors, doors all make noise. Beds comfy, decor beautiful & homely. Modern bathroom. Loads of quality food choices within walking distance. We did have an issue with having no tea towels, and the cleaning clothes in washing machine waiting to be washed and the dryer full of Linen. Outside is a beautiful seating area, but let down by the lack of maintenance, could do with a leaf blow :)

We loved our stay in this house. The views from the balcony are beautiful and the home is spacious and clean. We used the kitchen and found it ideal to make a quick group meal. The beds were comfortable. This house is lovely to use as a base to explore Hobart. Andrew and Lisa are responsive hosts who made our stay very enjoyable - looking forward to our next Hobart stay!
