Vacation rentals with lake access in Black Lake

The house was very clean, the hosts were top notch. Probably the best we've ever dealt with. Location was really good, and the setting was very, very nice. The layout of the house was a little awkward. You had to walk through a bedroom to get to the kitchen, and that was rough when kids were trying to sleep. I would rent the house again, especially for a group.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

We were in Lewiston for a wedding and so happy to find this home! Perfect location, convenient to everything in Lewiston. Debra was extremely responsive and patient with all my questions😊 Lovely home with beautiful views!

As a group of 8 we were worried about privacy and space. Once we arrived we were blown away at all the space, the amazing location and amenities. Kyle and Alena were beyond accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t have gotten through the weekend without them and or without the help of their friends and family. We felt like we had been coming to their place for years !! Any questions we had they answered right away and even gave us super helpful tips and advice for our stay ! We really appreciate you all, and cannot wait to return !! 16 out of 10 ;) If you are visiting rent the pontoon boat !! The area has so much to do and see and the price is a steal !

Helena's place is perfect to have a cozy weekend with friends and family. The view from the living room is amazing and makes it a good spot to sit and play card games. It is at a decent distance from Petoskey. Has good food options nearby as well. Overall, the stay was really great!!

Thank you Chris for sharing your home on Paradise Lake with us. It was the perfect spot to spend a few days after being on the road for weeks. Even better was the fact that our son and grandchildren came up from Ohio to visit. The home was so comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The close proximity to the ferry to Mackinac Island was helpful but the best part of the stay, truly heavenly, was sitting on the dock at sunset! So beautiful! Thank you!

Cliff's place was exactly perfect for a much-needed weekend of deep R&R for our family. The home was delightful, the deck perfect, the sound of the waves, the birds, the gentle purr of float boats, the breeze, the peace of beauty and a slow pace. We cannot thank you enough for a fabulous stay. We will definitely return. Loved every second!!!

Fawn and Jeremy have a very nice place that is updated and very well taken care of. House is close to restaurants and lots to do.

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Edmond’s place is actually even better than expected. It’s bigger in real time than the photos show. It is very comfortable and so quaint above the bakery. It was super quiet being above a bakery and across from the ferry. We heard no bothersome noise at all. The beds and linens are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, there is nice comfortable furniture, and we felt right at home. As others have said, the bakery coupon is an extra touch that is classy and honestly just fun! I would stay again and struggled to leave. Thank you for such a lovely home away from home. Do not hesitate to stay here. Very convenient location. BIG FAN!!

Our stay at Kathy’s place was perfect! The rental was spotless upon are arrival and Kathy was extremely flexible with check in and checkout. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during are stay. I would definitely recommend her place and happily rent from her again in the future.

The cottage was exactly what we expected, and more so. The view of the lake was just as spectacular in the morning as it was in the evenings!! The mist clearing on the lake in the morning sun reveals the changing colors of trees in the Fall Season. At night, the constellations sparkle strongly and clearly in the dark sky. And the sounds of silence increase the sense of peace and wonder. This is what you can experience whether sitting around a lakeside fire or sitting in the front room of the cottage. And making a home cooked meal is a pleasure as well...the kitchen supports good cooking and the dining room table supports warm and interesting conversations. Thanks, Leanne

Great, quite location. Well equipped and clean. Our dog loved the big yard to run while we relaxed on the nice deck. It's very dark at night, take a big basket for all the stars. Loved it, thanks Michelle
