The house was just as described. Very peaceful location, But easy to get around town in a very short amount of time. Next time I am in the Des moines area I will try to book the house again. The host Jeannette was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexander's! Sparkling clean, well -appointed kitchen, and gorgeous view of downtown Des Moines. Alexander was quick to respond to questions and was flexible with our check-in time which we really appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and cozy, making us feel right at home. As newcomers to Des Moines, we appreciated the owner's recommendations for local spots to check out. We even walked to a nearby restaurant and had a great meal! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others!

This place was perfect for a "meeting place" for us and two other out of town couples. We were able to all hang out in the living areas (mostly the basement) very comfortably. Lots of extra linens were provided and super easy instructions were posted throughout the house. The hot tub was clean and a very welcome amenity due to the snow and freezing temps! We would use this place again, for sure!

The house was the perfect place for our weekend wedding dress shopping getaway! The kitchen was well stocked making it simple to cook for our small group and the coffee syrups were a great welcoming touch! Beautiful natural tone modern decor throughout the house with cozy touches in every room that made it a very relaxing place to stay!

My family and I stayed here for about 2 weeks while I worked in the area. It was such a spacious and nice home, had all the kitchen/bath amenities that are needed and more. It’s a small town in a great neighborhood and couldn’t have been happier. Luz is a very kind and responsive host and would recommend it to anyone needing this size of a home in the area. Thanks a ton!
