My family and I booked this place as a little getaway for the festive period. We were very pleased to find a cozy little home from home and really enjoyed the ambience of the Welsh countryside. The cow shed is a lovely quiant little place, but has all the mod cons you could ask for. We especially like the fact that Jade had taken the trouble to put up an Xmas tree and presented cheese and biscuit board platter, which we found were really nice touches. The only downside we had was that the weather was a little too cold for us to take advantage of the outdoor barbecue, lol! Such a shame, because the outdoor seating area would have been great if we were brave enough to use it. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Cow Shed No.5 and hope to come back at some point in the near future - probably to use the BBQ!

Fantastic cottage in an easy distance to either the coast or more inland hikes. Very cozy and - as other reviews say - the bed is really comfy! Garden is lovely and dog secure. Hope to stay again soon!

As a family we booked two cottages which was perfect for a family get together over the New Year. The hosts were accommodating in allowing us to pay extra to bring a third dog which was really appreciated! Very peaceful location, gorgeous views from the decked area and if you’re lucky to get clear sky’s the stars are incredible. My only recommendation would be some stones/gravel by front door/parking as we walked mud in constantly, and with the dogs this drove me nuts as unavoidable everytime we stepped outside. No negatives though as our stay was wonderful and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil get away.
