Great location 2 mins from pebble beach! House was well stocked with everything we needed master bath sauna worked perfectly!! Quiet neighborhood on a clear night you can hear the waves crashing! The house is clean and well maintained. Had a great stay at the local’s place! Would stay again next time we go to crescent city!

This place tops my list on the houses I have had the privilege to stay in. From the rustic wrap around porches to the beautiful custom kitchen. Everything about this home feels handcrafted. Definitely a labor of love that must have taken years. And I can’t forget to mention the outdoor space. I am far from an astrologer but the night sky up on top of this mountain without all the light pollution was breathtakingly awg inspiring. And with tons of hiking trails to explore there is never a dull moment. Lastly Matt the host I would have to say is what made our stay the best yet. With all his help from navigating us there to being flexible on our check in to even accommodating us another day last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Lola’s place was absolutely wonderful! The place was clean, perfectly located for our travels. Lola was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Our stay was incredible. We had the best host who was super helpful and communicated clear and concise and in a timely manner! Patricia gave wonderful recommendations for things to do and see, and was super sweet even going above and beyond and leaving me a thoughtful birthday card! House was stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. The bikes provided were a huge hit with the whole family and was super fun to go explore on. My kids are already begging to go back again and we would love to stay here. She made her space feel like our home for the short time we were there. So many things in close proximity to this house it made it super easy for us to keep busy!

This is a majestic, comfortable, well appointed space! It was as described and no real complaints other than a wish to stay longer. Next time!

This place was fantastic. We took a family trip to the ocean/red woods and this place had everything I could ask for and more. Tons of amenities, great location, beautiful views, and one amazing hot tub :) I highly suggest this location to anyone visiting the Northern California Coast

We love staying with Mona! The house is clean and efficient, and perfectly located for walking around downtown Arcata. We like to cook some meals in, and the kitchen is supplied and set up to make that easy - and there are a couple grocery stores with ready-to-eat meals just a couple blocks away. Beds are comfortable and the area is quiet. Mona and Jeff are EXTREMELY responsive to any questions or issues that come up. We are fans!

It's even bigger in person! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The board games and expansive back yard lent itself to lots of fun, and we enjoyed the cozy beds and couch for relaxing. The house is in a safe neighborhood and an easy stop after our trip to the Redwoods. The town of Crescent City left us feeling uneasy, though. Lots of trump signs and actively unfriendly looks to our fellow non-white travelers. Not a reason to stay away, but something good to know before visiting! Thank you for the great accommodations, we loved the Jolly Barnacle!

This is the cleanest air bnb my family and I have stayed at. They have games, and toys for the kids. Plenty of towels, wash clothes, and blankets(which many air bnbs do not). The large living room and dining area were perfect for our big family, we were also impressed by the quality of the bedroom sets and the way the house is decorated. We will definitely book again!
