Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bequia

This place totally matched my dream house for a Bequia vaction (this was my second trip to Bequia, so I "get" the island's quiet, low-key charms.) A few steps from a quiet beach; private, beautifully landscaped grounds, yet in the middle of a friendly local community that kept a quiet and supportive watch over me. An easy half-hour walk into the bustle and vibe of town, yet a century away in ambience, recalling the classic vacation living of a bygone year. The house is an absolute classic, beautifully furnished with tasteful furniture (gorgeous antique beds!), easy care surfaces, and a sweeping veranda for eating and lounging...and yes, the hummingbirds are for real. This is not a house for those who demand high-tech facilities. No microwave or dishwasher; simple, functional double beds, adequate but not state-of-the-art internet. But for those who treasure "real" island life, the intentional simplicity is a plus, not a minus. Can't wait to go back!

Incredible 2 week stay accommodating the entire property with my family (8 adults 1 child) Propert exceeded expectations! Garden is huge and beautiful with many fruit bearing trees. All family members felt at home with us all having seperate bathrooms and not feeling on top of one another. Was here for my Dads 70th and let me tell you now; This property made it that much more special in his home Country! The host was nothing but incredibly helpful and responded to any query in an instant. The maintenance man Martin was great with helpful knowledge you would usually have to pay tours for and always at hand. Wanted to shout out STERNS Taxi (can google him) as he was very professional and watsapp available. Will i stay here again - well my Dad and everyone said how we wosh we coild buy this property! Bagga Breeze Cottage is such a gem. We loved our little private oasis. Steps to the black sand beach where we swam every morning and every day. We could enjoy our morning coffee and breakfast in peace on the patio. Marcia & Bert are wonderful hosts, they left everything that someone would need at their place. We loved Barrouallie, the locals are so friendly and welcoming. We cannot say how wonderful this vacation was. Rhe’s bar and restaurant is close by and a must try. We will definitely be back.

Jamdown is a beautiful house with fantastic views! Setup as two separate living areas which worked great for us, being two couples. Very well stocked kitchen and great amenities. You get lost in the views on the wrap around porch. The pool and patio are lovely. Plenty of spaces to sit, relax and listen to the crashing waves. Alan was very responsive and easy to rent from. Murline the caretaker was wonderful, she took care of everything we needed - even coming to the house after 8pm to help with a slight electrical glitch we experienced. We loved the open air concept house as long as the trade winds were blowing. We didn’t have strong trade winds the first 2 nights, so air conditioning would’ve made this house just about perfect for those nights to stay cool and keep the mosquitoes at bay. The water is swimmable and crystal clear. Recommend renting a car. Loved the island, the house, the people and the food!

Mardy's place was exceptional! It surpassed all our previous accommodations and delivered tremendous value, along with great communication with hosts. What sets it apart? Eight spacious bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms spread across two levels, each with its own fully-equipped kitchen. The thoughtful touches elevated our experience: complimentary local drinks and fresh fruits awaiting our arrival, ample paper towels and toilet paper supplied, blissful air conditioning in every bedroom, living rooms, and kitchens, and too much to list here. Only minor concerns: initially locating the property required some navigation, and a narrow pathway before approaching the final right turn to the house. However, these small challenges pale in comparison to the overall experience. For large groups seeking comfort, space, and attentive hospitality in St. Vincent, Mardy's place stands unrivaled. This is now my first choice in future visits back home to St.Vincent.

This stay was perfect, our host was fast to reply, helped with booking taxi’s and day trips. The b&b was well equipped, in a nice location that was quiet and had a lovely view. Couldn’t have thought of a better place to stay. Thank you so much :)

The apartment was exactly as described; super clean with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. It was well furnished and had everything you could want for a short or long term stay - fully equipped kitchen, cable tv, comfortable beds etc. Recardo was proactive and readily available to offer any assistance or advice on places to visit. We were there during hurricane Beryl, however Recardo was very reassuring and helpful, gathering supplies and filling water in anticipation of power and water outages. The property is slightly off the main road and will require a car/taxi if you’re not keen on walking up and down the hill (Recardo offered rides occasionally). Nonetheless, we had a great time despite the circumstances and are already planning our return. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The house was clean, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a short drive to beautiful beaches, local restaurants, and shops. Our host was fantastic ,he was very responsive, and provided excellent recommendations for activities. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Sunburst was beautifully placed in the hills of Arnos Vale. It had an amazing view of the hills and old airport with an ocean view. It was located close to the groceries, KFC, bar, restuarant and about a 10 minutes walk to a food court. The setting was quiet and refreshing but just remember it's on a hill so it's like a mini hike. Local transportation can be hitched at the bottom of the hill. The host was very accommodating as he allowed us to check in early and late at no additional cost because of our flight schedule. The room was comfortable and the amenities were available as stated. My next visit to St Vincent I wouldn't mind staying here again. Highly reccomended.

The location is excellent. On the beach. The water was crystal blue and perfect temperature. Very calm, perfect for swimming. AC worked effectively. 2 separate bedrooms with a shower in each bedroom. No insect problems. Very quiet at night. There is almost no traffic on the road. The local restaurant has very slow service but the food was reasonable. It takes about an hour to an hour and a half for food to be served after ordering. AirBNB was excellent is correcting reservation problems when our reservation at another location was suddenly cancelled due to plumbing issues.

My stay was comfortable, the place was cozy and suited my needs as a solo traveller. WiFi, hot water and AC all worked well. Small shops and food options within a short walk. I was able to move around by public transport as the stops were very close, and it’s close to Kingstown by public transport. But I think it would be easier to see Saint Vincent with a hire car. Arlette was a great host, very responsive and helpful, she kindly helped me with a lot of logistics.

From the moment we arrived everything was seamless, organized and clean. Aviar gave us clear directions and instructions for accessing the apartment. We had everything we wanted. Our friends visited and each of them wanted to know how to go about booking your apartments. We do hope to stay again and again!! Overall it’s a 200% approval from us. Such an awesome value. Can’t beat the location in terms of convenience, and the apartment was also well appointed and spotlessly clean. I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Kingstown.

Blue View was amazing! The views from the balcony are incredible. Everyone was very nice and responsive when we had any questions or needed recommendations for food/ activities. Highly recommend a stay at Blue View for any trips to Bequia ! Additionally if stopping in St Vincent , their associated Beachcombers hotel was great as well.

Great place in a great location. Very close to the beach. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable apartment and really enjoyed use of the swimming pool and the roof terrace for sundowners. Good Wi-Fi and very comfy bed!

What a relief to come to this haven after a long flight! Everything was super clean and tidy. Lots of lovely touches like bottles of ice cold water in the fridge and snacks for the kids. Felt right at home and all slept well. Will definitely return!

I really enjoyed my stay with Dione and Kevin. They are amazing hosts who get the balance just right with making sure you are ok and giving you your own space 💚💛💙 The property is a hidden gem, walking distance to the beach - Dione showed me the short cut as soon as I arrived and a pool onsite to chill in. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. This is a beautiful quiet part of the island, locals are super friendly and are happy to point you in the right direction or give you a lift up the hill to the shops. Brighton beach is great for forgetting all your worries or regrets as the beach sign says this beach fixes everything 🌴there are picnic tables and cooking spots again I was given free food on the beach by the locals. There is a beach bar that also serves food and drinks at a good price. If you want to enjoy the quiet side of St Vincent and enjoy the local hospitality then I can't recommend this place highly enough. I will be back x

I will only stay at here when I visit SVG from now on, the apartment is much better than how it is described, immaculately clean and very well equipped, it far exceeded my expectation. Thank you Sounez
