Alan was very gracious. I was amazed at the kitchen items. Plenty of pots and pan baking dishes and utensil. Even a blender was provided. Mattresses were comfortable. Roanoke is a small friendly town. The 2 restaurants we visited, The Farmstead was fabulous! Great food great quantity of food on your plate and good prices. The service was excellent. All meals came out at the same time and was hot. The owners are warm and friendly. The other restaurant was deli style with a deli ours assortment of hand made baked goods. Sandwiches and service good too. I recommend a visit!

My stay was great! The location is perfect being around 30 mins from both Bloomington and Peoria IL! The unit is very updated, clean, and welcoming! The host are also extremely kind people and communicate great with their guest! I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I recently moved from Chillicothe to Florida. We had to come back to Chilli for doctor appointments. Since we no longer had a place in Chillicothe, we decided to rent Sarah’s home. I’m so glad we did. It was perfect!! It is small but had about everything we needed for the 2 weeks we were there. Newer kitchen with dishwasher, large refrigerator, gas stove, stacked washer and dryer (great amenity) and small island to eat at. The only thing I would suggest would be more cooking utensils (mixing bowls etc) and dish towels. Sarah was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We also got to bring our small dogs which was a great plus. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Chillicothe.

Great spot and awesome hosts. Loved all the animals in the farm.
