Just What You Were Looking For! Pool, Free Parking

Great place to stay in Bend! Short uber from downtown and only 30-45ish minutes from Mt. Bachelor! Bar is great and puts on karaoke! The fire place and pool area is great as well! Only semi-negative is the parking as it is first come first serve! But they have options for you if the main parking is unavailable! Still 5/5 stars! Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The motel is old school and has charm and they’ve done a fantastic job remodeling the room. The kitchen has absolutely everything you would need, including a full spice rack and all the gadgets. It’s a great location between Redmond and Bend, about 10-15minutes from just about everything. We will definitely be back this summer!

They were great. Very responsive to my messages. And they let me check in early when I asked at the last minute because I was feeling very tired. They were a very great help. The place was as advertised and had everything I needed for a overnight trip.

Had a great weekend at Left Coast. Rooms were comfy and quirky. Hosts were friendly and very customer-oriented. Given the amenities and layout, felt like I was at a small camp. Seems geared toward folks that want to get outdoors locally, especially if you’re into mountain biking (rooms 2 & 3 have cool attached rooms with roll up doors, aka a garage). Highly recommend!

I’ve stayed in lots of hostels, but I’ll admit I was a little leery of a place called the “bunk and brew,” thinking it could be like staying at a frat house on a Friday night with everyone half my age. But I felt totally comfortable there, staff and other guests were friendly, and I slept well without any earplugs. It was clean enough, no wait for bathroom or showers and in a convenient location. I would stay here again.

The room is private and as described! Lot of stuff happening around the house all the time but that is expected at an hostel! Fun people! I wish I had a few more days at this place and Bend! But I was super tired from travel so I wasn't able to enjoy the experience fully... Maybe next time!

Host worked with us for a late check in and was very friendly. Gave us local recommendations to check out in the area. The place had other guests and the vibe was chill, friendly, and respectful. The amenities and vibe seem really cool even though we got in late and food and drinks were closed. It is an old home so floor boards creaked, water pressure wasn’t the best in the shower, couldn’t get the bathroom light to turn on, and the temp was a bit cold then warm in our room. There was a heater in the room we used. Shower had a large bottle of dial liquid soap to wash with. Overall it was a cool experience. Sauna was great!

The culture here is great. Friendly staff and guests during my stay. My favorite of US hostels so far. Their backyard food truck garden is awesome on its own (recommend the pizza), but pairing it with the hostel makes it convenient and fun. This is a social hostel in an old house; you will hear noise and activity. There are events and people stay up late. Quiet hours are enforced about as well as visiting hours in a maternity ward (I.e. they are not). If that doesn’t appeal to you, stay in one of the many other motels or hotels in Bend. This is a good hostel. Some notes: there is only one bathroom on the second floor and a lot of rooms. However, there is a bathroom downstairs and an outbuilding with a bathroom and showers. Room was clean and as advertised. Good location, nice neighborhood.

I enjoyed my stay here! The other guests were quiet, clean, and respectful. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee on the sunny patio. Very peaceful. At night there was some loud music coming from a house nearby, but I’m sure that is not the norm.

I can’t really agree with a hostel room being on air bnb…. But it’s a really great establishment - very cool people. I’ve been to hundreds of hostels and this one rates very high!!!!

We had a great visit at the Residence Inn. It is located in a very nice neighborhood in the Old Mill district at Bend. My husband who is a central Oregon husband was impressed with the price for the location and the amazing hotel room. We would definitely return again.
