Thankyou Zita for having us to stay at your beautiful cottage. We stayed in December and we felt like we were part of ‘The Holiday’ film. It was our first time in Ireland, we had a couple of beers at the local pub and then came back to the cottage for a cosy night in front of the fire (with wood all supplied by Zita). Thankyou again, we can’t wait to visit in the future.

Jen is an absolut Gem! The apartment was lovely and she is so very kind. We loved staying there and will book again if we’re visiting the area again. Spacious, clean, all the essentials and more are provided.

We stayed here for a month and loved the single level living and quiet neighborhood. From Cork City you can either walk up the hill, take a taxi, or take a bus. We preferred the 209 bus from the city center that drops you off more or less parallel to the AirBNB, it was easier with groceries. The neighborhood felt safe and the only noise we heard were the Shandon Bells, which were charming. The outside door opens to a small courtyard with a bistro table and the front door opens to a open concept living/dining/kitchen. To your right are the bedroom with a wardrobe and window, and through another door the bathroom. We loved having a washer and a large drying rack, the shower has excellent hot water and very good pressure, and opening our windows to catch the breeze. It's a very functional space for 2 people. Trash and recycling are just outside the door and regularly picked up. Colin was super friendly and kind, always responding quickly. A+ stay!
