Lydie is a kind, caring and considerate host. She went way above and beyond in order to perfect my stay. Because of her genuine kindness, this was one of my best ever AirBnB destinations. Mont St Michel was only the delectable icing on a fantastic cake! Highly recommend with the only caveat being you will need a car. I don’t want sweet Lydie, in her overwhelming kindness, to be burdened with having to drive you around, as she did for me, without one😉 Having been spoiled by the abundance of ride share options that a ‘big city’ life affords, I was shocked to discover that Uber, Lyft and taxi services are not available there. Although Lydie was kind enough to drop me off at the shuttles for Mont St Michel, it was still a 2 mile walk back. Not 20+ mins as reported by others, but more like a 45 mins walk…which is more doable in the summer, but most challenging in a rain/wind storm of a winter month like December. But, overall, Mont St. Michel and Lydie’s place, are surely worth it🫶🏾
