Cottage vacation rentals in Bay St. Louis

Great clean place. Looks exactly like the pictures, excellent location and extremely close to the beach. Cottage is very clean and well maintained. Pool was also very clean and the grounds are clean. Easy to find, would absolutely stay again. Only tiny issue is hot tub would only heat to 89 even when set higher. The washer and dryer are a major perk when traveling for a lot of days as a family. Thanks for a great stay!!

This is the perfect cabin for us. We enjoyed the quiet front porch and the homie feel of the indoors. We will definitely be back.

Not sure that I can adequately articulate what a wonderful time our family had celebrating Christmas 2024 at Mary Ellen & Bob's place! This historic home is absolutely beautiful and felt so warm and comfortable as soon as we walked in. So many beautiful pieces of furniture and the art work was amazing. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for all the meals we prepared, not to mention the beach chairs and bicycles that were provided and the golf cart available to rent. Loved the front porch, the screened in back porch, the pool area and the garden area where we were able to sit outside and have some of our meals. The home was just a few short blocks from the beach and not very far at all from The Depot and the downtown area but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful when we were at the house. And Mary Ellen was an amazing host! We definitely made memories for a lifetime! I could keep going but I am about to fun out of characters to type...

Let’s just say the pictures really don’t justify how beautiful this home is !! Super clean & wonderful!! Also bigger than it looks. the property will blow your mind! pool, hot tub , & creek !! Definitely would stay again magnificent host .

We loved our stay. House is nice and clean, beds are comfy, kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and there is a nice charcoal grill in the backyard. Our family really enjoyed the ping pong table, heated pool and hot tub. We visited over the Thanksgiving holiday so the hot tub was especially nice in the chilly mornings and evenings. The backyard is so peaceful for reading and relaxing and there is plenty of nice seating around the pool and a couple pool tubes and rafts on the back porch. We had 2 who worked from the house and the wi fi worked great. The location can't be beat. We had a golf cart but you can really walk everywhere from this property. This was our 5th visit to Bay St. Louis and this property was our favorite. Hope to stay here again next visit.

We enjoyed our stay at Majestic's tiny home. It had everything we needed. The property was well maintained, quite and peaceful. We chose to stay their due to the close proximity to Kessler AFB and numerous restaurants.

Wonderful lodging! Has all the bells and whistles we need. Very clean, private and well stocked. Fenced in yard with fire pit and pool. (pool still out of season) Nice area with lots to see and eat. We'll be back

Loved Gulfport & Mermaid Cottage. Easy walk to water. Central to whole Gulf Coast. Cottage was very comfortable & homey. Neighborhood was quiet. Lynn was a great and very friendly host. We even enjoyed feeding Crystal the cat.

For our family of six plus our dog, this was a sweet place to stay for a long weekend at the beach. We were always able to find parking right at the beach, and the beach was not crowded at all. The beds in the house were comfortable and easily fit the six of us. The neighborhood was fun to take the dog on walks, and my husband and I enjoyed going for a run in the morning. We could easily make our meals, do laundry, and Janie communicated everything clearly!

We stayed there for a week during Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. It’s a great location easy to get around. I loved being so close to the beach and boardwalk. The cottage was perfect for a cozy beach week in the winter. I’m sure the area is a very busy in the summer but there were several things walking distance and easy drives to make the location convenient during busy season. The cottage is dog friendly, which was a huge plus for us. We will definitely be looking to rebook next year when making our plans.

This is a beautiful home in a perfect location. It is clean and has all of the amenities you will need. The host is very responsive. I would definitely recommend.

An adoreable Creole cottage. Quiet, comfortable, and clean. We took our 2 dogs on vacation this year. They enjoyed the fenced in yard and walking on the dog friendly beach. ( that was 600 ft from front door) Great food and lots to see. Kathy was amazing from 1st contact. We enjoyed her hostess basket and 7 nights of blissful sleep. I highly recommend this home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location and the fenced yard was perfect for our pup. He loved it! We cooked steaks on the grill and enjoyed the corn hole game. The house was very clean and comfortable. Lynn is a wonderful host! We were traveling into very bad weather and she kept us updated all the way and left the fence open so we wouldn’t have to get out in the rain. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We came down for the weekend and stayed for 2 nights. The house is super clean and nice. It was also very interesting to read about the house's history. Everything was well kept and well stocked. I would definitely stay again! My favorite part was the gated driveway. It was nice to know my vehicle was secure on the property.

Danny and Don were the best hosts I’ve ever had on Airbnb. This place is immaculate. We had many great chats with them about local restaurants and of course, about their beautiful plants. We will definitely be back to stay here. It was so nice getting to know y’all!!

Place was great and we felt right at home. Was clean and comfortable. The outside may be a little off puting but the inside is great and very spacious. The only complaint i have is there wasnt enough towels for everyone but thats nothing that cant be corrected for the next visitors and you may hear a few trains here and there but nothing that kept us up at night, other than that its a great spot to stay if you wanna be near everything.

We loved the character of the home and area. I loved the historical feel to the almost 100 year old home. It was equipped with all amenities that were needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved walking the beach each morning and riding our bikes easily up and down the beach and downtown Gulfport. We often rode late at night and felt very safe in the neighborhood. The home was cozy and comfortable, nicely decorated. The beds were very comfy. The water pressure in the shower was strong with plenty of hot water. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs. Great fenced in backyard that our dog loved. We never got tired of the train. It was exciting to see up close. We would hear the horn in the distance and run to the door to watch. A very unique experience. It ran at night but after the first or second time, we did not notice it. Outdoor shower was hot and handy when coming off the beach. We stayed 30 days and were not ready to leave. Absolutely loved it!! Would recommend!!!

This was the first time to ever use Air bnb and was very glad I did. The host was great to work with. We had a great time and already making plans for next year.

Such a great place in the perfect location! I wish we could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to visit again!
