enjoyed staying at the Bird Dog but disappointed the cafe was not open any more. Liz was accommodating for the extra parking I needed for a boat I needed space for. It's close enough to walk to the downtown so that makes it nicer.

Staying here was like stepping into an episode of Home Town. So much fun getting to see all the details in person. Very clean and comfortable. Loved being so close to downtown - we enjoyed walking and seeing the historic homes. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Laurel.

The house was extremely accommodating and beautiful. Plenty of space for hanging out and the back and front porch spaces were great for enjoying the outdoors. Walkable to downtown made for a great location! Liz was extremely helpful with any questions and assistance, and even was kind of enough to reach out to us and check in when we had a severe weather alert in the early morning hours. Cannot recommend enough!

We stayed in the first floor cottage. The cozy decor made us feel right at home. We had a gift basket from our host waiting in our room when we arrived, making us feel welcome. The cottages are located the back of the property, adding quiet and privacy, but are in close proximity to downtown Laurel, about a 10 minute walk. The sweet dogs on the premises were the icing on the cake. We loved our stay!

My husband and I and our granddaughter stayed at the Eudora cottage and it was wonderful. The cottage is clean and fresh but with an old time charm and comfort. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and the coffee and snacks were quite the treat. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. What a fun place to stay when visiting Laurel.

This house is so cool! We loved the historic feel, and they had everything stocked that we needed. It felt like home. Our kids loved the upstairs bunk bed, and we appreciated that the master suite was spacious and luxurious. Downtown Laurel wasn’t far away, which was nice as well. Overall, great stay!

Monique was delightful. Super friendly, responsive and helpful. The little touches like fluffy towels that smelled like heaven, treats at the coffee bar, creamers, ice cubes in the freezer all ready to go for drinks...the list could go on. She thought of everything! We didn't use the coffee bar, but we certainly appreciate the attention to detail that is clearly put into making her guests feel even better than "right at home". I hope to have time to go back again someday. Laurel itself was very friendly and hospitable. The location of the home is very walkable to downtown and you'll recognize several homes that have been featured on Hometown. If you do find that you need a pharmacy or a big box store run, both are just a 5 minute drive away. We couldn't be happier with our entire experience. Thank you, Monique!

We've stayed here twice with our extended family. Our kids have gotten used to fishing in the pond and roaming the grounds. This is a very special place, and the house itself is a historical landmark. The owners have done excellent work to keep the house updated while also preserving the period furniture and charm. Highly recommended, and we would certainly stay again.

I seriously loved this place so much! The place was homey, and I felt very safe. The park right across the way was perfect. The location is in a nice quiet area, and still super close to all of the fun things in Laurel. The guest book and the map was super fun! We loved getting to see that we were the first ones to visit from West Virginia! Then on the scrabble board, the welcome, and all of the recommendations on there were perfect! There were snacks provided, that also made the place really welcoming! If we ever go to Mississippi again, we are definitely going back to this Air B&B. Seriously, it was great. The flamingos on the porch was also a super cute touch that my mom and I loved. A 10/10 stay!

My husband and I came to pillows and pines with our dog for a quiet getaway from the city. The place is so lovely and cozy it was easy to feel right at home. The views are amazing and we spent so much time lounging on the deck reading. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The hosts were responsive and helpful and we definitely love to come back!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb for our daughter’s softball tournament this past weekend, and it was an unforgettable experience! This was our family’s first time using Airbnb (we usually stay in hotels), and we’re so glad we made the switch. We arrived around 1 AM to a warm welcome with a smiling face, and the place was spotless. The hosts went above and beyond, providing snacks, water, and coffee. They even made the sofa bed for us, allowing us to go straight to bed after a long day. Also allowed us a late checked out with our daughter’s unexpected win. It made our stay so much more comfortable, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. From now on, we’ll be choosing Airbnb for our family trips – this experience set the bar high. Highly recommend!!!!!

Always enjoy our time at The Trest’s place when we visit Laurel. Just like home, peaceful & comfortable….wonderful hosts. Plenty of things to do. This trip was all about what my grand daughter’s wanted to do. Their favorites were Hands+made where they painted something to take home, going to Gardiner Park to play, getting Laurel t-shirts at The Mercantile, candy & drinks from The Scotsman General Store, eating pizza at Mimmo’s and of course…icecream from The Laurel Creamery everyday we were there! We walked through the neighborhood & just enjoyed the moment.together. We love coming to Laurel & staying at our favorite Airbnb! ~Valerie Mitchell ~ Killen, AL

Our group had the pleasure of staying in this charming older home, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The house is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that give it so much character and warmth. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and the host had gone above and beyond to ensure the bathroom was stocked with all the essentials. With multiple sitting areas, everyone in our group had their own space to unwind. The teens could hang out in a separate area from the adults, allowing everyone to enjoy their time in comfort and peace. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. While it's not within walking distance to restaurants and stores, the central location makes it easy to drive to an abundance of dining and shopping options nearby. This home truly felt like a home away from home, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for comfort, ence, and charm.

Bev and her husband were so helpful and welcoming. We felt right at home. Our cottage was cozy and the recliners were perfect as we had been in motels for a week before where the chairs are not comfortable. The pages of helpful tips about restaurants and sightseeing were invaluable. We totally enjoyed our visit.

Cici’s cottage is an amazing place to stay! My husband and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if her cottage is available. We were in town for my mother-in-law’s funeral. Cici’s cottage was our place to grieve and mourn our loss. Her cottage was so peaceful in its decor, location, surroundings, landscaping, and just its coziness. Stepping inside, one can see and feel the peace and love Cici has taken to take her cottage an incredible experience for all who are fortunate to stay there. But what meant the most to us was the small but significant touch in a sign that she put together which said “Welcome to Laurel” and our names. On the darkest day of our lives, driving hours to reach my mother-in-law before she passed but not making it in time, tired, and in shock, her simple and personal welcome made us know we were home, we were in a safe place to grieve, and everything was going to be ok. We highly recommend staying in Cici’s cottage! You’ll never want to stay anywhere else!

The home was perfect for 5 girls traveling for a wedding. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had plenty of space to enjoy our time at the property. Wilma quickly responded anytime I had a question and was very helpful. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area.

We made a spur of the moment decision to book the stay at Sara’s and could not have been happier! We especially enjoyed our morning coffee outside on the front porch, listening to the birds and occasionally the cows. Our pup had plenty of space to wander and explore. It was exactly what we needed. Since we plan to visit the area more frequently, we look forward to staying here every time!

Justin was an amazing host. My family really enjoyed our stay there. We played softball all weekend. Everything was perfect, we had zero issues. When I return to play again in a couple months I hope this home is available. Highly recommend this rental for any family that likes a peaceful and private environment. I hate we forgot to sign the guest book.

This rustic cabin was perfect! The surrounding area with the lake was peaceful and serene. Pedal boat and canoe for kids to get some exercise too. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and we LOVE that you could check in for 1pm. Our lab, Waylon, loved swimming in the lake. We will be back for sure. Thank ya'll.

Doris' guest house is wonderfully maintained. Not only is the yard beautifully manicured, but the house itself is lovely! Compared with the nearest hotels in Laurel this is a beautiful spot for an affordable price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a great space! It’s super cute and well done. It was plenty of room for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable and well laid out. The bathrooms were great. It was a nice evening and could definitely see spending the week in this cabin. Also great spot if you’re visiting downtown laurel as the drive isn’t too long. Also breakfast at Rays near by is delicious!
