So perfect for our family- it was cold outside so we enjoyed watching movies in front of the fire and playing games at the kitchen table with the sun coming in the beautiful windows. Extremely clean! Best beds we have ever found in a rental! Great place to recharge and relax.

Karin's Airbnb met all our expectations. We enjoyed a clean, relaxing friend reunion with plenty of spots to relax. Karin was so responsive!!! I had messaged her with a couple of things we noticed after we checked in so she would know, and Karin responded immediately. The very best was, after checking out and driving down the road, i realized I had left my phone in the house. We went back but could not access our lock code, figuring it was past checkout time. Karin noticed our repeated calls from a friend's phone while she was in a Bible study and felt we really needed a quick response, so she did. We were able to get back into the house with her reassurance and retrieve my phone! Whew! Karin was very kind in all of her correspondences, very responsive, and a wonderful host! I would stay there again and again!

The Sunfish Cabin was a lovely little getaway for a weekend! It has a lovely view of the lake and a great spot to watch the sunsets. My friend and I really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boating. It was super nice the resort had those options available to use for free!

We were a family of 17 a mix of adults and kids. Ken and Cindy’s place was perfect for our big family. We loved the lake, the coffee shop down the road and very close to Battle Lake for those last minute needs. Highly recommend this house, you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay with our little ones. There was a lot for everyone to do and space for everyone to relax too. We will definitely consider coming back in the future!

Very peaceful and beautiful. The set up was perfect for our family, with amenities up and downstairs. There were plenty of amenities and the host had everything we needed for a restful vacation with two younger kids, she was very responsive and accommodating.

Mark and Heather's place was perfect for our family. There were 5 of us visiting for a family Christmas. We had lots of space, it had everything we needed and it was neat and clean. We'll definitely stay again!

Latham responded quickly to all questions and correspondence. The house was clean and comfortable. Located within walking distance of downtown. Staying here made our trip enjoyable and relaxing. We will definitely be staying there again.

Great overall. Only complaint was an underground bees nest that stung one of us and the dog. Texted manager & she didn’t offer to come spray. We had to go to hardware store and buy spray ourselves. Also gas tank for grills ran out. Manager hesitantly offered to get some but said we could about 10 miles down the road. Paid out of pocket for these things.

Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay at this property as a base for visiting the trolls in nearby Detroit Lakes. The rooms were very large and the spaces were not cluttered with breakable decorative objects which was nice for traveling with toddlers. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook meals even including a crockpot! The coffee cupboard was a really nice touch with multiple options for brewing coffee. We appreciated the games, books and puzzles to entertain ourselves and did not miss a tv at all. The Wi-Fi worked great if you wanted to stream on your devices.

This is a great place! Clean, had everything we needed, and they’re very quick to answer any communication. We’d definitely stay again. We had 5 people and we all slept comfortably and well. There are extra touches here and there that let you know they really about their guests comfort. We highly recommend staying here!

We did a family weekend and it was a great place to stay! The location was perfect for us halfway between all of my family! Everything was just perfect. We had a great day would highly recommend.

We stayed at Dan and Catherines lake home Christmas week. What a great place to gather with family for the holiday, they even had it decorated including a tree. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The large dining table was great for all the grandkids. The instructions for use of the equipment were great. Kids of all ages loved the game room in the basement. It was nice to get our vehicle in the garage during snowy weather. We would stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks

My large family did a winter weekend getaway and stayed at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was big enough to accommodate everyone. Brigitte was responsive, flexible, and helpful. The cabin looks just like the pictures; clean and inviting. They provided all the amenities listed. There are many nice lakes around this cabin. Other than the train track nearby, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. At night, so many stars shined brightly. We would definitely book this cabin again. Thank you for your hospitality.

booked Turtle Shores for a private artist retreat for 1. enjoyed my stay tremendously, always within view of the lake and able to light a fire every night to sit and watch the sun go down. plus only 16 minutes from Detroit Lakes if I needed to get anything or get out of the camper for a while to take a walk and stretch my legs

The environment was relaxing and peaceful. House was beautiful. The hosts were very responsive, personally checked in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Flexible with check in/out dates and times. Outside games/furniture, firewood was available. Kitchen and bathroom were fully furnished. Definitely will stay here again!!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Travis & Reagans cabin. It was very clean and spacious! Everybody had a lot of fun with all the activities provided in the house. We all had a great weekend and would highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING! My husband and I traveled with our 4 and 2 year old boys and they had a blast. The beach was sandy and shallow which was perfect for them! They loved all the frogs on the property as well. The big grassy yard was perfect for running around. Their favorite thing was the robot vacuum 😂 Some reviews said there was no outside furniture but when we were there, there was a bistro set for outside. Which was super nice! Love the sunshine over the lake with the fireplace going in the background. Even tho there was no stove/oven it really didn’t matter. The toaster oven worked great and so did the grill outside. Only “complaint” the dock was a little worn and in some places felt like you shouldn’t step or at least not 2 adults at the same time. Other than that tho it was the perfect place! We will definitely be back!

The home was clean, open, and beautiful--just like the photos. We had a group of 8 adults and kids between ages of 3 and 13, and there was plenty of space for us all without feeling too busy/overly crowded. The location was quiet and peaceful; it was cold and foggy the weekend we went but we were able to take the kiddos outdoors and onto the frozen lake for a bit. It was a nice little getaway staying indoors with the fireplace, baking, and playing board games. I bet during the warmer months there would be plenty to do outdoors. Carly was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend.

Charming cabin right on the lake. Our family loved being on the water and enjoying the patio. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
