Farmstay vacation rentals in Bathurst Regional Council

This farm stay was an absolutely delight! A peaceful oasis for our trip to Bathurst. The calm peaceful environment made for a lovely stay and the farm house was such a treat to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the bathtub and friendly sheep that would welcome us each night!

Fantastic home! Plenty of space and amenities for a small to medium sized group. Great location with great space and privacy.

A charming cottage in a very peaceful location. We were extremely comfortable and felt at home immediately. We were only there on a short stopover and spent our time relaxing, reading and eating on the verandah, then slept soundly in Jenny's very comfortable beds....bliss!

Fabulous spot for a relaxed holiday. Perfect little retreat for my 9yo and me. Breakfast was taken care of, the kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfy and beautifully made, and we could bounce around loudly with disturbing anyone! Liz invited us to feed animals at 4.30pm each day and we met the adorable farm dogs 🐕😍. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to take one home with us! Excellent value and wide open spaces. We were greeted by a lovely lady I believe may have been related to Bejamin. After a day in the car, it was great to be able to make ourselves immediately at home in this wonderful venue. As the airbnb site notes, this is a wedding venue and then some!! But if there just for the farm/rural atmosphere along with some peace and quiet and you have a DOG as we do, it was just great, everything was as noted on the bnb site. Its not right in the heart of Bathurst but that's what makes it so different. Bathurst is still only a 9k drive to the main town with plenty of shops and racing history if you are into the "great race" as I am. If not, there is plenty of other things to occupy yourselves and some greet eating places and morning coffee shops. Otherwise stay out at the venue and enjoy the surroundings or make a fire and cuddle up with a loved one and a bottle of something and enjoy the views.

We enjoyed our stay, easy check in and out, it was very clean and comfortable and met our needs for a place to stay for two nights, while our daughter participated in a football competition during the day.

It was a great stay. Really enjoyed watching the horses. Very quiet. Lots of kangaroos jumping around and lounging. They were fun to watch. Ultra clear skies and we took great pics of the milky way.

We had a wonderful stay at Denise’s farm over the Easter weekend with our family and friends. The house was lovely—clean, well-equipped, and nestled in a peaceful farm setting with absolutely stunning views. Denise was a fantastic host, going above and beyond to make our stay special. One of the highlights was when she took our girls on a tour around the farm—they got to meet and feed the animals, which was such a memorable experience for them. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun for both adults and kids. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming getaway. Thanks Denise!

Karen and her family were amazing hosts! She was incredibly friendly and responsive to our messages, and she even gave us some fantastic local recommendations. The cottage was absolutely spotless, warm, and cozy. The location itself was both beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed our time on the farm and being around the animals 🤗. Karen was so kind to take the kids around and show them the animals and the workings of the farm, which made the experience extra special for us. Beautifully peaceful! Classic country style charm, with tasteful decor inside an older building that exudes memories from the past, with everything one needs. A very short drive into town that's out of the way but easy to find. Great escape 😃

stayed the weekend at this accommodation and was perfect the hosts are very friendly and accommodating,the surrounding views are gorgeous,as is the property,you can spend time with the animals they have on property,it really felt like home away from home. recommend staying you won't b disappointed.

Our private cabin had everything you need for an overnight stay or for a long weekend getaway. Located far enough out of town that you could enjoy peaceful nights with a breathtaking view of the sunset but close enough for a short drive into the heart of Bathurst. Very friendly and accommodating hosts, we will be recommending to any Friends or family that are passing through. Will definitely be booking another stay here in the future. A Truly Unique and Relaxing Stay We had an incredible time staying at this rustic and charming barn overlooking the stunning Capertee Mountains. The accommodation itself is full of character—cozy, unique, and perfectly blended with its beautiful countryside surroundings. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. Maz was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The warm hospitality really added to the experience. Added bonus is the yummy brownies. It’s also conveniently located near Mudgee’s wineries, making it a perfect base for exploring the region while still feeling completely secluded and peaceful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil escape with unforgettable views and a touch of rustic charm.

Redground Cottage is beautiful and comfortable, we were attending a wedding nearby and it was convenient to that location and also to nearby Oberon for groceries. Jill welcomed us personally on arrival and everything was as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Rosa and her husband’s home in Newbridge! Rosa is an incredibly kind, warm, and generous host with a truly beautiful heart. Her hospitality went above and beyond anything we could have expected and doubled the enjoyment of our trip   From the moment we arrived, Rosa’s thoughtful touches made us feel at home. She surprised the kids with lovely gifts and even treated the adults to a beautiful bottle of red wine. She also prepared delicious Italian coffee for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed   The property itself is stunning, with a breathtaking lookout and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature. We loved watching and interacting with the animals—peacocks, sheep, hens, a rooster, and colorful birds, adding a magical touch to our stay   I can’t help but wonder why we didn’t stay longer! It was such an unforgettable experience, & we are already looking forward to returning someday. Thank you, Rosa, for making our stay so memorable

We throughly enjoyed 5 nights at Hilton Homestead over New Year’s. Such a peaceful spot and the renovated home is just beautiful - the perfect mix of old and new. We enjoyed peaceful mornings, watching the wildlife and gorgeous sunsets and many home cooked meals. The surrounding towns are also quaint and very enjoyable to mosey around. Watching and listening to the cows being moved early on the first morning was a treat! Thank you Megan and John for the lovely stay. A perfect country getaway 💚

Great place to stay, great host highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing! The views are breathtaking, and the setting is perfect. We loved the charming country cottage and our kids absolutely adored the alpacas. It was an unforgettable country escape.
