Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Barrow-in-Furness District

Great stay at a view from within. David was a great communicator from the start which made things easy, very friendly host. The property is only a short walk from the centre of bowness but is still private and peaceful at the same time. The property itself is huge and probably even better in person than on the photos. Everyone was delighted with their rooms. The living room was a lovely cosy place to sit together at night and the jacuzzi/pool room was amazing, a great place to chill, shoot some pool or even just hang out at the bar area. It is a dog friendly property which meant our 2 Boston terriers were able to enjoy this luxury property with us. The kitchen was well stocked with any utensils you would need and even though the Ice cube maker was out of order during our trip the hosts had even stocked the freezer up with ice for us. Great hosts and great property, highly recommended!

Lovely spacious period property which is in a great location. Close to train station and Lancaster center. Situated on a quiet street with parking and parking permit supplied by host. Contact with the host was faultless throughout our stay. I would definitely return if in the area again.

Had a great break at Anthony's lovely cottage.The weather was gloomy but was so good to return to a cosy home after a walk in the hills just behind the house. Hope we can return in the growing season to see it at it's best.

The Christmas Welcome pack was Amazing and much appreciated Steve and Vicky also left some dog treats for our Dogs. They checked on us throughout our stay which was really thoughtful. We would love to return in the future.

5* all round - the photos don’t do the place justice! It was so homely and cosy and has everything you need for a break away. John couldn’t have been more accommodating, very last minute we asked if we could do a farm tour and he got back to us so quickly to arrange a tour (during the festive holidays!) which was so lovely and really made our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Jane was a great host, very easy to get ahold of and very responsive. It’s really nicely presented and everything has been thoughtfully done, feels like you’re in your own home! Garden space is really Nice and the location was great! Would definitely stay again!

Lovely little flat. Short walk to Bowness. We met Kim when we arrived as we had trouble finding the accomodation. She answered phone right away directing us. very friendly host. Not sure why past reviews say the driveway is very small...we had ample room. Loved small touches like milk in fridge when we arrived and the kit kat in the coffee mug. lovely little night away x

I had the most wonderful stay at Jeanette’s apartment. It is cosy, beautifully decorated and the views from every room are to die for. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms are spotless and the bed was so comfortable. I loved the log burner - nothing like a real fire to give those cosy vibes. Jeanette was kind enough to leave milk in the fridge for me and was right on hand when I made a bit of a pigs ear of a reverse park attempt, she was lovely and friendly and clearly had put a lot of love into decorating her home. I honestly didn’t want to leave! Troutbeck is a perfect location. It’s an easy hike into Ambleside, a few minutes drive from Booths (the best supermarket ever), and you can hike right from the doorstep with many routes to choose from. The Mortal Man pub just down the road has great local beers and the staff there were lovely, friendly and welcoming too. I had lunch at the village cafe, another lovely experience, even the local robins stopped to say hello!

Lovely apartment in a great location. Easy to unpack and repack the car right outside the alley. Space was clean and beds were so comfortable. Peter was so helpful before we checked in and whilst we didn’t need any help when we were there, I wouldn’t have hesitated to reach out. Met Peter at check out and he was warm and friendly. Would recommend staying at Peter’s place!

Lovely stay, weather wasn’t so good so the gym and spa access was a welcomed addition! We took a boat on Windermere to Brockhole and then walked to the gym! Thanks for having us

Really lovely place to stay in between bowness and Windermere, easy to get everywhere, really handy having a proper parking space, well equipped kitchen, would definitely visit again!

Our 3rd visit. As always the loft is a home away from home. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect location to explore the lake district. Will definitely be staying again the future 😃

We had a wonderful stay, it was a shame we couldn't stay longer this time! Lovely apartment, very clean and quiet and ideally located for walking into Bowness on Windermere and for visiting surrounding area. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Mill! Sophie was so responsive, helpful, and kind while we took a holiday to enjoy the Lake District in the clear winter weather. The apartment was spacious and also cozy, with everything we wanted for the week, including a gorgeous view of the river (particularly at sunset!). Sophie also shared great tips for local hikes and other spots to explore, including a recommendation for a riverside thermal spa which was a real cherry on top to the week! Our two dogs, spanish greyhound rescues, loved walking around the area and exploring the countryside. We look forward to coming back!

Absolutely loved my stay. It had everything I needed and was pristine clean when I arrived. The location is good only a short walk in the centre of Kendal and lots of nice walks almost outside the front door. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous getaway in a gorgeous setting. Very convenient, had all we needed. Julie had thought of everything and left us lovely little gifts. I would highly recommend this accommodation and setting. It was also lovely to learn about the history of the house and very interesting. Thank you for the great time.

A wealth of food for visitors

Ray and Sue were brilliant hosts, very helpful when checking in and lots of helpful information in the property. The property was very clean and tidy. We were in the area for a wedding so didn’t get to explore much of the local area but would stay here again to go exploring.

We had such a lovely stay at Little 20! Michael and Linda were excellent hosts and super helpful before during and after our stay. The space is beautifully kept and in an amazing location. Thank you both so much for- I am sure we will be back!😍❤️❄️
