Monthly Rentals in Bantry

It was lovely to be able to check in quickly as the weather (storm Bert) was arriving and it was wet and cold and we had a tiny baby in our group. The place warmed up within the day and became very cosy and warm. We all slept well and had plenty of living space. Michael was concerned regarding the storm and checked in on us which was nice. We were in a lovely spot close to family and also near to a road that took us wherever we wanted to go. We were very close to Lidl next door which was perfect for us to get our essentials on the first day. We were close to bantry as well. Then the storm cleared the view was lovely. We would recommend it was lovely having a nice warm base to go back to after a long cold day out. We will certainly be using the place again x

Bill was an amazing host and incredibly welcoming. His home is positively cosy and unique. It felt like visiting a family friend. He gave us suggestions on where to visit in the area, which were most welcomed. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely outstanding: fresh fruits from the garden chopped up into an amazing fruit salad, creamy yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, strong coffee, home made jams, antipasto and delicious breads and croissants. Certainly made us feel like royalty! Also thoroughly enjoyed meeting Maggie and Izzy, the resident black dogs and official greeting party.

So peaceful wish I could stay forever !

The last week in the accommodation was pleasant, we felt at home. The view of the garden is nice, the kitchen and washing machine were very helpful. The distance from the city didn't bother us as the drive is quite fast. Lots of activities and beautiful things around. Even though we did not meet Helen, she was quick to respond to our messages. A good place to explore the area.
