We had an incredible stay in this unique and historical place, rich with character and story. The architecture blends seamlessly with nature, creating an open, tranquil atmosphere. Lying in the hammock on the bridge section, surrounded by the sounds of nature, was unforgettable. If you come with the mindset that this is a historical home in restoration (not a brand-new property), you’ll appreciate its charm and authenticity. The beach is just a few steps away, and the open jalousie walls allow for excellent air circulation, keeping the space cool and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with the basics for cooking, and the fan was a helpful addition when needed. Silvia was an exceptional host—flexible, responsive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. Staying here was truly an honor, and we highly recommend it!

Monica’s studio is amazing. It is well maintained, beautiful and has everything you need. It a beautiful place to relax, to enjoy the surrounding, the sounds of the jungle (as you hear the birds singing and the calls of the howler monkeys) and to work remote (good internet!). I’ll definitely recommend the studio to anyone who loves and respects nature/jungle life! The location of the studio is good. It’s not in the center of the town, which is good. Because there is a lot of music, traffic and parties. It is located in Cocles, which is more peaceful and quiet. I bought a bicycle to get around and that works perfectly. Keep in mind that there are a lot of mosquitos, so bring repellent. The only downside for me was the construction work nearby. During the week there was quite a lot of drilling. Luckily only a few hours and not during the weekends I would definitely come back! Monica is really kind, wonderful and helpful. Pura vida

If I’m ever in Limon I will stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay in Playa Bonita. The flat was very close to the beach, restaurants and bus stop. The flat was basic, very clean and the washing machine was a nice touch. Roy was a great host, always contactable and gave very clear instructions. An added bonus was being able to see the sloth in the tree!
