Large Windows adorn this opened concept area with spectacular views of the HOLLYWOOD Sign and Griffith Observatory. 55" mounted flat screen TV. WIFI. Brand new Washer/Dryer. Brand new bathroom. Don't forget to pick up some laundry detergent if you plan on washing your stuff. Whole bean coffee provided. This single family home is yours. This is an amazing space and everything is brand new. Security cameras for added peace of mind; key-less front door access makes check in a breeze. My wife and I (and 3 kids) are just 10 minutes away. We are here to help you with anything. If you need something, just ask. We know about all the local attractions and the coastal beaches. If you need something, chances are that we have it. I have surfboards, bikes, kids stuff, strollers, car seats, toys, beach chairs. We can probably figure it out if needed. We welcome families with small kids, as parents of small kids, we totally get it. Set in the endlessly hip Silver Lake neighborhood, the house is steps away from organic markets, trendy coffeehouses, and eclectic boutiques. The area is quite walkable, boasting charming hillside views and sunny parks. Lots of great things to do, Amazing Coffee, Restaurants, Bars, Breakfast (Brunch, Sunday Funday) and farmers market all within WALKING DISTANCE!!!!!! Parking-House has a garage that is available if requested as well as driveway parking. The garage is small, nose the vehicle into garage with rear-end hanging out and garage door open with gate closed. Please close garage when not in use. Please close garage and park on street when it is raining. There are TONS of amazing restaurants within walking distance. Please try to use the white bath towels for drying wet, clean bodies after showering or bathing. Try not to use them for wiping make-up and cleaning messes. They stain easily. Light blue towels provided for cleaning and wiping. Thanks!

Historic home in great location. Right in the middle of all the action! The park across the street was very enjoyable. We were in town for a Gregory Isakov concert and it was only 10 minutes from the Disney Concert Hall. It is a fairly busy area so keep that in mind. Host is extremely hospitable, responsive, and communicative. We would stay again.

The stay at Mrs. Vanessa's location was wonderful. The home was a nicely furnished, centrally located home. The arrival was easy and staying there was refreshing as it became my home. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive with any need or just a pleasant hello. There is a lovely lemon tree in the back, and I was lucky enough to be able to use the lemons for cooking as well as lemonade. I recommend Mrs. Vanessa's home for anyone traveling to the area.

This is a lovely, private studio on a hill. While it overlooks the 2, it is far enough away that the road just provides background sound like surf. The far view to the north is beautiful and the immediate neighborhood very quiet. We loved the unit. It is extremely well equipped and comes with thoughtful instructions on how everything works. We particularly appreciated good coffee and the fixings. The kitchenette had all we needed for stowing and serving our usual continental breakfast. Bed and bedding were excellent, as were the other furnishings. Plenty of hot water. Good off street parking. Lots of usb outlets. Heat pump for heat and cooling. The hosts clearly want this place to work for their guests. We will return here.

Jacob's accommodation was even better in reality than in the photographs. As homesteaders coming from London, UK, this guest house was very suitable for our visit with family in LA. In particular we greatly appreciated the spacious kitchen with its vintage stove (my wife's favourite). The host mentioned to us his house was built a century ago, and lounging inside, with its view of the mountains, we were able to experience the nostalgia of historic Glendora itself more acutely. Places like this are rare. It's very true what the 1926 classified ad in The Chicago Tribune said: "Location, Location, Location!" Jacob's house offers true value and we recommend it highly. Looking forward to many more trips!

This place is beautiful and cozy. I loved all the details, there was nice clean products to use in the bathroom and for the laundry. The beds were absolutely heaven to sleep in and it was nice to find some condiments offered in the fridge, all the little things that making it feel really welcoming and homey.
