Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bakersfield

My family really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday. Large space great for families on the good side of town and great neighborhood. Home was cozy and backyard had plenty of space and toys to entertain the kids. The refrigerator was not working properly the first day and I contacted Gil and he immediately got me a replacement within a few hours. I was impressed and grateful! I hope to rent this home each time my family comes to town to visit our former home town

Beautiful place! Very esthetically pleasing and comfortable. We had a couple of things not working when we arrived and we reached out via the app but didn’t get a response until the following day. They somehow didn’t receive the message through the app and encouraged me to use their direct line. Not a big deal but if you need assistance with something use their contact information given and not the app. The hot tub wasn’t working and a few of the motorized shades in the front of the house needed charging to work. They came out the next day and took care of it! Overall the place was perfect for our family stay. Thank you!

It's incredibly convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and the freeway. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. He provided detailed instructions that made check-in seamless while also respecting our vacation time with just the right amount of contact. It was reassuring to know he was available if needed. The house itself was amazing! Our family of 13 fit very comfortably, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. The family room was a perfect gathering spot, where we enjoyed quality time together. The home was clean, well-equipped, and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Bakersfield. Victor is a fantastic host, and we would absolutely stay here again!

I cannot recommend Laura’s Airbnb highly enough! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Laura is a genuinely kind host who truly cares about her guests. Her communication is excellent, and she’s always quick to follow up if there’s an issue. For example, when my car unfortunately leaked oil onto the driveway, Laura handled the situation with incredible professionalism and kindness, ensuring everything was resolved without any stress. The space itself is immaculate—spotless, fully stocked with high-quality amenities, and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. The price is beyond reasonable for what you get, and it’s worth every penny. The location is supreme! Whether you’re on foot or driving, everything you need is within easy reach. It’s also kid-friendly, with parks and a golf course nearby, and dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is super quiet and feels incredibly safe—I’ve enjoyed peaceful night strolls and even found the neighbors to be kind.
