Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bakersfield

My family really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday. Large space great for families on the good side of town and great neighborhood. Home was cozy and backyard had plenty of space and toys to entertain the kids. The refrigerator was not working properly the first day and I contacted Gil and he immediately got me a replacement within a few hours. I was impressed and grateful! I hope to rent this home each time my family comes to town to visit our former home town

Nice place and well hosted

Alfonso was a great host! He graciously opened his home to a crew of men that were working on a construction project near by. We are very appreciative Alfonso for letting use use his home for the last several months. If they guys needed anything he was responsive and helpful! If we ever have another job in the area we will definitely reach out again to book this house.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home over the holidays! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The instructions for check-in and house rules were clear and easy to follow. The neighborhood was so festive with beautiful lights and had a warm, friendly vibe. It's incredibly convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and the freeway. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. The house was very clean and the set up was great for having multiple families and a place for kids and adults to hang out. The house is in a nice neighborhood that felt very safe and was close to food and grocery. Victor was great at communicating and check in and check out was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot recommend Laura’s Airbnb highly enough! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Laura is a genuinely kind host who truly cares about her guests. Her communication is excellent, and she’s always quick to follow up if there’s an issue. For example, when my car unfortunately leaked oil onto the driveway, Laura handled the situation with incredible professionalism and kindness, ensuring everything was resolved without any stress. The space itself is immaculate—spotless, fully stocked with high-quality amenities, and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. The price is beyond reasonable for what you get, and it’s worth every penny. The location is supreme! Whether you’re on foot or driving, everything you need is within easy reach. It’s also kid-friendly, with parks and a golf course nearby, and dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is super quiet and feels incredibly safe—I’ve enjoyed peaceful night strolls and even found the neighbors to be kind.

Laura’s place was perfect for our quick weekend trip to Bakersfield. We were visiting some family and this place was 5 mins away from our event we were going to. It was quiet, super clean, and spacious. The bathroom had a lot of counter space which was helpful while getting ready in the morning. I highly recommend staying here!

Christian's home was the perfect place for my family. It had lots of space and was exactly how it was described. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Christian was also very receptive to questions I had prior to arriving and during our stay.
