Mimi's place is super nice! - Each room has enough privacy and its own bathroom. - The pool was super nice - Bed are super comfy - Stylish design We would stay there again!! Please note: 1) It's a Balinese style house that comes with its bugs and mosquitoes. Luckily the host is providing all necessary (e.g. sprays). 2) The center of Canggu is too far to walk. We used Grab motorbike to move around.

Thanks to Made for making our stay a wonderful experience. The place was just what we were looking for, nice relaxing quiet and a lovely pool. We were even treated to breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This villa is so beautiful and so peaceful. We really loved the décoration and all the small attentions for the guests. You could feel that the villa has a soul in the sense where it seems that it's owned by a family and not just decorated for tourism. The management service is so professionnal, welcoming and helpful. The villa is super clean and really well managed. Our stay was a delight!

As you read the other previous reviews of the listing, it is quite accurate. Having to walk a manageable distance to the villa from the main road, having random bugs as the living area is in the open and location is at least 20 minutes from Ubud centre. Also in the review are how responsive the staff were, good breakfast spread and the rooms are clean and we had good sleep . I just want to add that the photos are brighter than the actual place, it is not dated just darker in real life. Air cond in two of the rooms are not as cool but manageable. They have been notified.

Our stay at this villa in Bali was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning, with a beautiful blend of modern design and traditional Balinese touches. The pool was the highlight—crystal clear and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a private oasis to relax. The bedrooms were spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The host went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and thoughtful touches, like daily checkins and daily housekeeping. The location was ideal, close to fantastic restaurants and attractions but still peaceful and secluded. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough and can’t wait to return!

We stayed for 4,5 weeks at Margit’s guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer than the pictures suggest. We have a 3 year old toddler and a 10 month old baby who is crawling and exploring, so for us the safety for our children was important. We were grateful for the babygate that Margit had installed especially for us. We found the house to be very comfortable and clean; It has everything that we needed. You can open everything up and let the breeze go through the house, or keep everything closed and stay in the airco to cool down. The garden is beautiful with an amazing pool. The WiFi connection is good and fast in case you need to work from home. Dapur Deli in the beginning of the alley has good western food. And if you’re traveling with children we can also recommend de Kidz Café down the street. The household staff are lovely and were very sweet with our children. The communication with Margit was very good, she responds very quickly.

I stayed at Oki's villa for three weeks with my wife as we attended a two week course nearby. The villa is fabulous, pretty much exactly as described. All essentials facilities provided and the place was clean and well looked after. It's a great location close enough to everything we needed but far enough from the centre of the town where it can be quite noisy. We used Grab to get about quickly and easily. Oki and his family are friendly and helpful, breakfast every morning at a time that suited us was a real bonus. Oki also offers airport transfers at fair value which we availed of. I highly recommend Oki's villa.

Great location within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Villa was beautifully furnished and spotless.

About the house, it looks exactly the same as the pictures. The entire house and the pool overlooks onto a lush green paddy field which is a treat to the tired & sore eyes. The shower was at the entry which was the only sticking point for us but we have had our fair share of outdoorsy showers. About the location, Such a beautiful and quite location away from the touristy areas of Bali yet pretty accessible by a short bike ride or GoJek( surprisingly not hard to get). A short ride to the beach which follows a road in the midst of paddy fields... The restaurants around are all owners-run so the quality of food that you get for the price is unbelievable (western food mostly as we were there during Bali's holidays, all the warung's were shut) About the owner, Julia was very proactive in giving information on Kedungu, house and directions. We did have a minor issue during our stay to which we got compensated in a timely manner ( Thanks Julia) Overall, great stay. Will return for sure.

super cute rooms , bed was comfy and the view was peaceful. close to many things and I was surprised how peaceful it was given the area. Definitely recommended

Beautiful place, very cozy, very homey. Love how it brings the family together with lots of activities just inside the house. Host was very nice, very accommodating, and very responsive. Would love to come again and definitely recommend this place :)

We stayed for 3 nights and wish it had been longer. Everything was great and we had a very wonderful time. wayan was extremely friendly and helpful, and was able to arrange everything for us when we needed something. The cleaners were flexible as some of our guests were a bit ill and slept a lot. The pool was clean and more importantly it was cold! Which is rare! Very peaceful and happy and would 1000% return when we are next in Canggu. Thank you so so much. Loved it.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at this beautiful villa! It looks even better in person than the photos, The villa is extremely clean and well maintained, the beds are incredibly comfortable and it has everything you need and more! The pool is beautiful and the view looks like a dream. This villa genuinely feels like a second home and it’s close to everything. Tina was incredibly accommodating and easy to contact. She went above and beyond for us in every way and ensured that we had everything we needed and responded to all of our requests. Couldn’t recommend this villa high enough!

Wayan’s place was beautifully kept and cleaned (he had a cleaner come everyday) it looks just as beautiful in person as it does in the pictures. He was extremely responsive and helpful with arranging airport pick-ups, as well as leaving some local suggestions for us. We loved the vibe and the Villa was walking distance to a lot of local restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again, he was so kind and made us feel at home. Even let us stay a couple extra hours past check-in for us to have a place to chill before heading to our flight out. Thanks again 💕

We had an amazing week at Istana Semer thanks to Adi and the wonderful team who were looking after us during our stay. The villa and garden is so spacious and feels secluded and private. It's the perfect place to host a group of friends or family, allowing everyone to both spend time together with the group or relax on their own on the various day beds, the spacious common room or by the pool. The location was great and close to Seminyak and Canggu with loads of options for restaurants, shops and spas. We had most of our meals at the villa, however, with chef Agus preparing delicious food with a local touch. All bedrooms come with air conditioning which was a life saver and the wifi was strong, allowing us to work remote, either from the dedicated office or at the various desks/tables around the property. I recommend bringing a portable speaker so you can listen to music around the villa. I can't wait for my next visit to Istana Semer!

We had the most wonderful breathtaking experience with Villa Sansil! A traditional Balinese home right on the beach, with meals cooked and catered for, on your timeline. Anything you needed the ladies would try make it happen, i.e, massage, scooters, etc. We were treated like family and will be returning for our next holiday to Bali!! We highly recommend 🌟

Amazing stay, can’t wait to stay again !

We had a great stay at Villa Canggu! The instructions provided by the host right from the beginning were absolutely amazing and nothing we have ever experienced before on any of our trips. The place itself was spotless: very clean, tidy and matched the photos that are on the listing. We've stayed in quite a few other villas/ hotels etc during this trip and most didn't live up to our expectations. This villa surpassed them! It was equipped with everything we needed, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. There are great restaurants, cafes, stores etc within walking distance, so it was centrally located, but still far enough away from all the hustle and bustle so it wasn't noisy, particularly at night. Looking forward to staying again next time we're on the island.

Abhi's place has such beautiful spaces that are just perfect for all sorts of groups and numbers. The space leads to a horizon of rice fields where you are able to see the sun set, which is something very rare in the busy places and streets of Canggu. The staff are also amazing, and were very attentive in all aspects. We had a 1-year old among our guests and they were excellent at catering to all the needs to the child. They are also very good cooks! Miku is an amazing host who is always there and never fails to be both polite, prompt and helpful. We were all very very happy to have been able to spend a couple days at Abhi's place. The place is so perfect! Thank you for taking care of us, we will definitely be back!!

This place is the most amazing place we have ever seen in our lifetime. The photos do not do it justice. From the start communicating with the host Yeva was easy and we had made some changes with people coming earlier and it was never a problem. The size of the property is just huge and everyone had there own slice ofe paradise and comfort. The art is amazing and you can take ours just looking at it scattered around the property. The staff were amazing and tended to our needs when needed and kept the place so clean it was very refreshing. They gave us our space and we felt like they were part of our family. our only complaint is we wish we had booked it longer but rest assured we will be back and will definitely spread the word about this amazing place .
