Bungalow vacation rentals in Badung Regency

Had a great time here. Staff were friendly, room was spotless, both pools were refreshing. Food was tasty and convenient and never had issues with noise, even when going to bed at 10pm. Barely saw any mosquitos either. Would love to come back here some day.

We loved our stay with Doni. First step of our few months' break in Bali. We felt at home very quickly. The bungalow is very nice, bright, clean, lots of charm. Well-equipped outdoor area. Sejoli is a peaceful oasis, the small houses all prettier than each other. The staff is lovely, very helpful. The location in an alley away from the noise of the street. Les Umalas is a neighborhood we knew, quiet, not in the heart of Seminyak or Canggu but accessible by taxi. On the street a few good restaurants.

Our first trip to Bali and our first hotel stay - we could not have been more impressed with the hospitality and comfort we experienced at Umakayu! We stayed for five nights over the new year period. Putu & his team were amazing, informative and always willing to help. Nicole gave us some great recommendations for new year’s and advice for our travels around Bali after we checked out. The villa was cosy, authentic and felt very private. There was some construction around the area but this is the case throughout all of Bali and it didn’t bother us. The hotel is walking distance to Batu Bolong beach which we did several times as the traffic was quite heavy given the time of year. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the Canggu area. Thank you guys so much!!

Couldn’t ask for better location, hustle and bustle if the streets and back to a peaceful secluded getaway, just what we were after . Left alone and felt like it was our place but always there if required, we will be back !

We came as a family of 4 (two kids aged 3 & 6). Already on the first day, my son asked if we could come back again next year so this speaks great volume of the place. The place was huge, windy, has a beautiful view over the padi field, nice outdoor shower area, neat rooms and clean pool. Breakfast is delicious, beds are really comfortable and you can barely hear that traffic outside. It is really peaceful. Because it is in Ubud, you got to manage your expectations. There will be lizards, tokehs, ants, mozzies, worms, snails and spiders. After all, you are in the forest. Putu (our contact person) is really helpful, responsive and friendly. She made us feel right at home. Kudos to all staff as well. Their drivers and laundry services are reasonably priced. We have done the comparison so we know that they are doing an honest business. It is within walking distance to Cupit BBQ (best pork ribs & satays!!!) and Alchemy yoga.

Good stay overall. Looks better than the pictures. Helpful host and located in a good area.

We stayed at Winarta’s villa for a week with our 3 year old and 9 month old daughters. We had a fantastic trip! Winarta was a wonderful host, we were collected from the airport (1am arrival time), kindly shown the villa, and driven to the supermarket the next morning to buy essentials. The villa itself was great - it had everything we needed (including cot, high chair, play mat for the kids) and the location was perfect. We especially loved the pool and garden. Thanks for having us - we hope to come back again soon!

The villa was even more beautiful than in the photos. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the pool was absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush nature. A perfect place to stay in Ubud. The food service was excellent, with delicious meals and exquisite breakfasts. But what truly made the experience special was the staff—always attentive, kind, and ready to help. Without a doubt, a place to return to and highly recommend!
