Vacation rentals with a patio in Avery County

A very nice and quite place right down the road from Beach Mountain with plenty of restaurants, shops, hiking trails, and scenic views. The house had a very unique and charming layout that made us feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to many local attractions. Skiers are near Banner Elk for Sugar and Beech. Just off main highway but private. I will be back and would recommend to family and friends.

Great place. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, especially during the weekdays when the complex was less busy. The location is very convenient to everything in Banner Elk, Beech Mtn, Sugar Mtn, Grandfather Mtn, and Seven Devils. The internet is solid for any other digital nomads out there. My wife and I worked all week during the days and never had an issue with the speed or reliability of the internet. Only two cons come to mind: The unit is near the front of the condo complex so it’s very near Tynecastle Hwy. The road noise was considerable. Also, all of the neighboring units are other short term rentals. My wife and I try to be considerate of others while traveling. That is not always the case with other travelers. So, like a hotel, you’ll be surrounded by other STR travelers which might be good or bad based on luck of the draw. I can’t say enough about Becky. She’s awesome and everything you want in a host. Very communicative and clear directions. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hibernation station. It is a very cozy, clean condo and we felt right at home. We didn’t anticipate how walkable it was! The kids loved being able to walk to the playground and to the sledding hill. Without little kids, I could also have walked to some of the local restaurants. The kids LOVED the pool, spa, and game room. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Lisa's condo. It was even more beautiful than the photos, and the view was spectacular! It is clear that the hosts enjoy the unit themselves because it was so thoughtfully furnished and well appointed. Lisa was so incredibly easy to work with and extremely responsive. Our plans were very last minute, arriving the same day, and Lisa could not have made it easier. We will DEFINITELY be back to one of the best condos in the area!

The view from the condo is beautiful, just like the photos! We had a good time in the area, exploring Boone and Banner Elk. We also enjoyed the Autumn at Oz festival on Beech Mountain and the Alpine Coaster in Banner Elk, both fun activities.

Best for the area. Was right where I needed to be by the Overlook Barn for a wedding. (I wasn’t aware mountain homes had no AC lol so that was on me.) Had your basics for a nice clean stay. Bring your toiletries and coffee pods, etc. Simple clean and easy. Thanks!

Y'all, This place is absolutely AMAZING. The house is awesome to say the least, the land and view are remarkable. We came up for hiking and riding our motorcycles and Boone did not disappoint at all. This property has so many deer its unreal. We enjoyed sitting outside just taking in all the beauty this area has, but if you like staying inside. This house is just WOW. Very beautifully decorated and well put together. Not mentioning we have been thinking abut butcher board countertops and we were able to see them in person with the same cabinets we have. Loved this trip, we are already talking about the next trip... and Im sure it will be at this same address. Thank You for letting us share your paradise.

Cozy retreat in beautiful area of the High Country. Close to golf courses and Blue Ridge parkway hiking.

This place was perfect for our first snowboarding trip of the season! We traveled with our dog and Myla had a treat for her ready to go! Will definitely be staying here again!

This place was absolutely amazing. The game room was really a hit for my family and I .The host was very responsive when it came to questions being asked . Rooms were very spacious and clean . Plenty of room to move around . The hot tub was very relaxing as well . This property has lots of things to do and definitely worth the peace and quiet . Family and I definitely would book again.

Absolutely beautiful place and that view!! Everything was super clean and just as described in the listing! Jennifer’s place had everything we needed plus more! Tons of space, cozy fireplace and view of the mountain! We even got some snow while we were there! Would definitely recommend and would love to go back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this townhouse in Beech Mountain! It was perfect for our family—spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located near the resort. The property manager was fantastic—super responsive, very informative, and made the entire process seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would absolutely stay here again!

Pie in the Sky is one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever stayed! We went here for my brother’s bachelor trip and got to play some card games and watch movies for an entire weekend. The view is beautiful and the location is a great weekend disconnect from anything else going on in your life!

Miranda's place is cozy with a huge and beautiful yard, some mountain views, and easy to find.

We had an amazing stay here. It was tastefully decorated, well stocked and the mountain views were spectacular! Sarah is an excellent host and very responsive. We highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were comfortable and loved the gorgeous balcony view. Was that Grandfather Mountain I saw? We’d like to come again when it isn’t freezing cold outside so we can appreciate the view even more! The front desk called the shuttle driver for us as needed, and there was little to no wait time whenever we needed them. The fireplace in the property couldn’t be used, but there’s a nice big fireplace in the sitting area downstairs that we enjoyed.

Place was peaceful and quiet ! Matches the description. Cozy and family friendly! Lots of table games. Pool was clean also. Very responsive host. Over all a good experience. Would book again

Natalie‘s place is great. Walking distance to the slug is very accessible. Awesome porch, nice fireplace, nice TVs.

We have been vacationing in the Sugar Mountain area for over thirty years. This Reserve condominium was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It has a beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain, and miles of views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The rocking chairs on the deck are a nice touch. The unit is beautiful and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very responsive and she answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this condominium. We will be back!

Have already recommended Flo's place. And will definitely be staying again. She is very pleasant and made our pups feel welcomed too.

It was exactly as expected, very clean and close to the slopes!
