Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Australia

Accomodation was beautiful furnished with everything you need for a short stay. What we loved was the open kitchen and lounge, and the enormous backyard and fire pit. We made use of the games in the shed (bocce, cricket, bikes) and brought our own games too. All in all, it was a great place to stay to get away. There’s not much to do in the nearby area but that was not our intention anyway.

We were a large group staying for 4 days. Everything was wonderful. The house was clean and very spacious, the backyard had lovely surroundings and the pool was fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities that you need for preparing food for large groups. Our kids really enjoyed have the big room with all the beds so they could be together. Would highly recommend staying here. Rachael was a fabulous host. Communicated well with the info we needed and responded quickly to messages.

Perfect stay for Australia Day weekend. House is the perfect size for two families with plenty of room. Would love to come back in winter to use the fire place inside. Thanks for a fantastic house Lindy!

Loved our stay. We went in winter and it was perfect. Top house isn't connected to the bottom house- only by outside stairs, but still worked well!

From Alvern Airport, take the Sky bus and arrive directly to Southern Cross Station, and it is the best as it is located about 5 minutes on foot to the accommodation. You can easily travel around the city by free tram. There are also many Korean restaurants nearby. The Coles market is nearby, and the Queen Victoria Market is about 10 minutes away, so I was able to buy good meat and vegetables and make steaks and eat them. I recommend it to others. This is the place.

We loved our holiday in the Red Onion. It had all you could possibly want for a fabulous ski holiday. The chalet was thoughtfully equipped with all the basics plus so many wonderful extras, which made for a delightful stay (laundry powder, herbs and spices, huge range of books and entertainment). Di and George were wonderful hosts who gave us clear and easy to follow instructions with thoughtful local information and welcoming treats too. We would definitely like to return to the charming Red Onion in the future.

Great location. Beautiful view of the mountains. Very convenient shuttle bus stop right out the front. Adequate and convenient parking. Well equiped kitchen. Lovely warm underfloor heating. Good storage locker for skis etc.

Great accommodation which is perfectly located on the river and entry to Lake Carlet. Thank you Sean, my family really enjoyed our few days at your shack. The house is comfortable and well stocked with the essentials and the location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the river. Neighbours were friendly you can feel the community spirit. We will be back.

Our stay at Vicki’s chalet was as we had hoped. The facilities were spotless and the chalet was an easy walk to the village and lifts. As it’s situated along the river the surroundings are peaceful with views into the trees and up the mountain. The living spaces were comfortable and well appointed. Thanks for the experience.

We had a fantastic family weekend away at Erica's property. What a stunning location! The kids pretty much spent the whole weekend on the beach and the kayaks was an extra bit of fun. We spent every night relaxing around the fire pit on the deck. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to come back again at some point.

Josh place was fantastic. We went as 2 families with 5 kids (one 20 months). Please was perfect, close to the village and all amenities. Easy storage for ski gear. Perfect for the first time taking young kids skiing. John was very responsive and helpful as well. We would happily stay here again. Chris

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tracey’s property in Sussex Inlet. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the cozy and well-maintained home. The location is perfect—peaceful and close to the beautiful waterfront, yet conveniently near local amenities. The house was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the extra care Tracey put into ensuring everything was just right. Sarah was a wonderful lady and more than just a property owner. We had to face an unavoidable circumstance and the way she handled it was incredible. She tried all the options she had and even beyond. Please don’t expect a super luxurious accommodation here but fairly good place for a “Glamping style” stay. It’s a different experience in the middle of a large farm. However you will get all the basic needs. I reckon to have your own sleep accessories to make the stay more comfortable. Thanks

Jamie and James were very welcoming and very accommodating. The space was just what we needed for the night. Very private, very quiet. Downside is reception is poor at the top of Ben Lomond. So read check-in notes before arriving.

Josie was flexible and had clear instructions that made checking in and out super easy. Highly recommend her listing to those looking for a cozy and comfortable space to stay after a long hike!

Good place to be and nice surrounding. Cabin next to the river side is perfect place to stay for a vacation.
