My father and I stayed at Heidi and Fred's for 5 nights and we absolutely adored it. It was located in a quiet neighborhood and we felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay. The place was pristinely clean and included nice touches such as wine (for the price of a small donation) as well as a pamphlet of local restaurant recommendations. We also thought it was kind of the hosts to help us out with the trouble we were having with the TV remote. Although we came together for a solemn occasion, Heidi and Fred's humble and tranquil abode made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for those looking to stay in the Geneva area and don't want to stay at a motel!

This house is a favorite of ours and we’ve stayed here 5 times. We will certainly do so again. So cozy and comfortable within an easy walk of restaurants. A short drive to the lake, but also out of the wind that can come off of it. A great supply of super-soft towels in the bathroom and a great shower. The two beds are comfortable with a good option of pillows from soft to firm to fit anyone’s needs. We generally don’t use the bar in the basement, but it’s certainly a nice space to relax, have a drink, and play some darts. The grocery right behind the house has most everything you need and the kitchen is well appointed if you want to cook. Nathan is very responsive and helpful with anything you might need. We highly recommend this cozy house! We’ll be back next year!

Perfect! The property is beautiful--the pond, the gardens, the flowers, the birds, the bullfrogs, the turkey, the dragonflies, the entire space. We barely spent any time inside the Game Room. It was too gorgeous outside. We had the entire River Rest Retreat space to ourselves for three full days. Don and I felt at peace there. Brian, the neighbors, and the Honda Dealer in Austinburg, were helpful, kind, and giving when we had a flat tire and needed to get some work done on it. The inside of the Game Room was comfortable, inviting and well stocked. We will return in the future. We give this place a 10!
