House vacation rentals in Audley End

This was such a perfect place for our big family to all be together for the very special occasion of our son’s wedding. How amazing to be able to host our family in such a beautiful, characterful, every detail thought of, luxury home. To top it all the swimming pool and hot tub with the excellent changing room facilities gave it the wow factor that helped us relax and melt away the stresses of organising a wedding! The house had the magical effect of making the adults play a game of hide and seek once the children were in bed 🤣

Thank you Zuzana for being so welcoming. The location was perfect with a beautiful garden. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A great find.

I book this place for me and some friends, it was a lovely property, had so much space to do the activities we wanted to do in it. The swimming pool was easily manageable and was a little treat for all of us, and the temperature was great considering we went in the end of November.

We had a great time at this lovely big cosy and spotlessly clean house. The weather wasn’t great but the kids still loved the garden, playhouse and swing, and we all loved the hot tub. Host was friendly and communicative.

Veronica and The Barn went above and beyond to make us all welcome and to help with our requirement. Very quick to respond and patient with my questions and quirks. Highly, highly recommended and I'd personally love to say in January! Your stay will help to conserve and contribute to an historic building and a passion project. I think it's utterly wonderful.

We so enjoyed our time at this wonderful property. The grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful. My kids enjoyed playing with the nearby cat and dog which I think was the highlight of their whole trip. The house was warm and inviting and we so appreciated checking in and some snacks and drinks on arrival. Ely is so close and the cathedral is a must-see. We would definitely stay here again and the kids are asking to return already!

A great spacious location with a stunning master bedroom and an east facing view across the fields. The home is comfortable with a great, well equipped kitchen. If you’d like to use the new Nespresso machine, make sure you bring the newer dome shaped tabs! (You can’t buy these in the supermarket!). We also managed to squeeze 4 cars on the drive without blocking any of the neighbours. The garden is quite large too with a lovely decking area for the summer evenings. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool too! Sally and Jules were very accommodating and responded very quickly to any messages. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lara and James were amazing hosts, always available when needed but equally we felt that we had our own cottage, privacy and space. Lara and James made an effort to make sure that we were really comfortable and that anything we needed they would do their best to source for us. My husband loves his walking and after a brief chat to that end we were provided with a local ordinance survey map which now lives in the cottage. After we asked about the horses in the paddocks Lara went above and beyond to organise a pony grooming experience for our kids which really made their holiday so memorable. We will definitely be back in the future to this little slice of tranquil heaven.

We had the pleasure of staying for an entire month in this immaculate property where we immediately felt at home. Located in a quiet residential area but close to local amenities the facilities are excellent and the hosts go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

We found the place actually bigger than what it looked like on the description. Overall clean and walls recently painted. Very comfortable for the 3 couples + 1 kid that we were. The host was very responsive and friendly: upon an incident with the microwave oven, it was replaced by a new one within 3-4 hours!

Had a wonderful stay and my family enjoyed a lot. Everything was as it looked like in pictures. Heating/appliances, water everything was working as expected. Would definitely recommend Cheers!

Such a gem of a place to stay! This little house is beautifully appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable and cosy stay. Quirky, fun decorations in every room and I'm not kidding when I say that the sofa and snuggler in the sitting room are the most comfortable I've ever come across! The location is great - close enough to walk into Saffron Walden and also with nice dog walks on the doorstep too. The house is tucked away in a quiet corner so it's both private and peaceful as well as being accessible. The parking places are a real bonus. Florence is an amazing host - very quick, and responsive. Could not have asked for more. In fact, I've already booked to head back there for another couple of weeks!

We had a wonderful stay at Angeline’s house. The place looks exactly as described and is located in a very peaceful neighborhood but close to the center with many things to do nearby. Angeline is an excellent host! We will be missing Cambridge!

It was our first time traveling to the UK and this was a perfect fit! About an hour outside of London and such a peaceful place to come back to after a day of exploring! It was private, beautiful and very close to the bus stops needed to get into the city! The host met us there to show us the ins and outs of the house, and gave some great local recommendations! It would be a pleasure to stay again!

Ideal secure shared home for us to stay with car parking outside the front door. We walked to our family nearby, which was convenient. The wifi worked well inside the home during our 9 night stay. Our host and family were polite and able to assist when required.

Beautiful house and great location, very responsive host. Exactly matched its description and photos. Highly recommend. (A shame that we had to check out at 10.00am promptly on the Sunday morning as it would have been nice to enjoy the space for an hour or so more to have breakfast - the only negative. We did know check out times but have known flexibility at other properties we've stayed at.)
