House vacation rentals in Au Sable River

Our family gathered to celebrate a 60th bday and the accommodations were fantastic! The accommodations were perfect for our three generations of six adults and three children. The place was clean and we had everything we needed. Definitely would stay again!

Fantastic Stay for Large Groups! We had a fantastic stay at Bob and Lisa's place! The space was perfect for our group of 16, including kids—spacious, comfortable, and well-suited to our needs. Bob was incredibly responsive and helpful, offering great recommendations and even suggesting a later checkout, which was especially thoughtful with the kids. He was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting with a large group—we’d gladly stay here again!

This was our second time staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as great as the first! Communication with the host was fantastic—quick responses and clear instructions throughout our stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location exceeded our expectations again; it's super convenient, with stores and great local dining options just minutes away. We couldn't ask for a better spot to relax and enjoy the area. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

This was a great place for my family! TONS of room, loved the games and home feel of the place. Property and location were gorgeous, exactly what we were looking for. Loved having a blender for smoothies and the kids loved the deck and woods. It was close to town but not too close :-) THANK YOU for a lovely stay!

My spouse and I celebrated our 15th anniversary. It was a fantastic, peaceful weekend. Melissa's house was so cute and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed, and Melissa communicated throughout the weekend to make sure we were set. I can't wait to visit in the summer!

Kate was an amazing host. Very communicative and understanding with people flying in from out of town and needing early check in. The place was incredible and highly recommended to anyone coming to Traverse City.

What an amazing weekend at an absolutely beautiful spot. Melissa provided an amazing space for us to relax and enjoy what the area had to offer. We honestly can't say enough about how beautiful the location was and how responsive and friendly they were. Without question one of the best places we have stayed in the area. All we talked about all the way home was when we are going back up to spend another weekend. Hands down 10 out of 10.

I highly recommend staying here. We had 9 kids with ages ranging from 10-20 and they all had a great time, never complained about being bored. The house was big enough to where they could have their fun even when the adult needed to sleep. The house was very accommodating and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect.

We loved the Hoxie house. The proximity to Traverse City while also being secluded was one of a kind. Was exactly what we were looking for.

Stayed here with a few friends over our college break, it was an awesome time and the perfect space for a group of college students to relax and all be together. Lots of activities within the house (ping pong, pool table, cornhole, darts) which made the trip better. Great fridge space and bathrooms/showers worked well. More than enough sleeping spaces for me and all my friends. Would highly recommended to any large group looking for a fun getaway!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Josh's place was exactly as pictures showed and description . He was always quick to respond to my messages. We just wanted a nice place near the water to relax and that's exactly what we got! We would have loved to have rented the boat, but the weather didn't cooperate with us for that but we still had a great time relaxing with our family. Thanks Josh, we are looking forward to our next stay!

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

Beautiful view over the lake, comfortable accommodations, perfect for a relaxing girl's weekend. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The home was very spacious for our group of 5. We did struggle to find Ubers and Lyfts and taxis seem to book up quickly so we would suggest planning rides in advance. Other than that we couldn’t have asked for a better space and location for our trip! Annemarie is a great host and kept us informed and up to date throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend!

Chirron was always quick to respond and was clear with her instructions. The house itself was perfect for our stay before our wedding at Castle Farms. We were able to have family that otherwise couldn’t afford to attend our wedding stay with us there and not feel like they were in our way. Neighbors clearly don’t like having an Air BnB in their HOA, but meh… 🙃

We had a restful stay! The house is adorable Midcentury Modern with so much charm, thoughtful amenities and a cozy atmosphere that makes the house instantly feel like home. Spotlessly clean, lots of extra attention to the details of a family trip or wine weekend excursion. Great recommendations for food and wine lovers. We really enjoyed our stay. We’d love to come back and stay longer.

Great place for my work crew to stay at! It had everything they needed and more.

My family and I had the most incredible experience. The place was spotless and perfect for our big family with 5 children under 6. Plenty of space. Adorable rooftop. Didn't even have time to enjoy the jacuzzi but they were more than happy to help us out with that. They even had cute little toys/legos our children enjoyed as well. Both kitchens were fully stocked with whatever you could possibly need. Everything was so so so immaculate and clean, which truly matters when you have a bunch of children rolling around and crawling on floors. We also could not love this house more! Loni was super responsive to any questions I had. We had the best long weekend!

Very nice home! My family of 8 stayed for an extended weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. The home was just as shown in the pictures and the outside/location was very private and serene. It is close proximity to downtown TC and many activities. I would highly recommend!

I absolutely adored this Airbnb. I extended my stay. I stayed for a total of 2-months with fur babies. If you read my previous review, you can see all the great things this place has to offer. In short, the property is beautiful, especially in the fall; it’s close to town with all the essentials (gym, grocery store, McD, beer store, etc); MY Verizon hotspot worked with no issues; washer & dryer worked good; clean; responsive hosts. What else can someone ask for?? Overall, I had zero issues and it exceed my expectations. Don’t wait, book it if you’re considering!!
