Family-friendly vacation rentals in Atocha, Arganzuela

Great apartment in a good location. A bit far from the center but we were visiting friends that live in the area so it was perfect for us.

We spent a week in Pilar's beautiful home. The location is easily walkable to the metro restaurants, museums etc. We enjoyed eating at the various restaurants nearby -- none more than a block or two from the apartment. Havana Blues (two blocks from apt) for cuban sandwiches, La Princessa on the opposite corner from our block apt for amazing dolmas, chicken shawarma and belly dancing. The mercado is two blocks away for cheese fresh seafood and vegetables. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Pilar gave us a personal overview of how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked. We probably spent most of our time out on the terrace, which also has a cute little sleeping cottage. There is a large retractable awning to offer shade in the hot part of the day. We sat outside every night and the large conversation couch offers plenty of seating. Pilar is a lovely host and is extremely responsive. We highly recommend.

My stay was AMAZING. The loft apartment is even more stunning in person than in pictures. The terrace is amazing & the bathroom is brand new. I stayed for a month and the apartment is great equipped. Plenty of sheets, towels, and closet space. The wifi was also great. The location is extremely convenient. Everywhere was walkable and extremely safe. It’s right by a lot of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this spot to anyone! The host, Marga, is very responsive and kind. One of the best airbnbs I ever stayed at.

We stayed a month for the whole family and we are especially happy for the facilities offered by Francisco, who facilitated us flexible entry, making it easier to carry suitcases beforehand so that the entrance and logistics were simpler with the children.

The location is superb- in the heart of Chueca- a great area for restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and generally to feel the energetic and fun vibes of Madrid. The apartment is very nice. The renovation was well done. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs where the renovation feels cheaply done. Easy and clear communication with the hosts. This place is very much worth the price

Marta's place was simply fantastic! Our family of six stayed there and had plenty of space and privacy. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment was immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything you could need. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. The provided amenities lasted our entire stay. The apartment looks better in person than in the pictures! The location absolutely cannot be beat! Grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and a metro station are all within meters of the apartment. Taxis are very easy to find at all times of the day right outside the apartment door. The apartment building was quiet in the evening. We never heard any traffic. Check in was incredibly easy and straightforward. The key pick-up location is right across the street. Marta was always very accessible, friendly, and helpful. This was by far our best AirBnb experience. We will happily stay again on future visits. Thank you very much, Marta!

The apartment was very nice and centrally located, the host was very nice. Small things could have been more optimal, but on the whole a nice stay in Madrid.

Not only is it located is an absolute picturesque and walkable neighborhood, allowing us to experience the city as locals…her balcony served as the a stunning location for our first look wedding photos. 10/10

Miguel’s place is in such a great location, we enjoyed walking everywhere and it was very accessible. The apartment has a lovely feel, tastefully decorated and very clean. I want to review our holiday stay at Diego's apartment in Madrid. The apartment is fantastic and spacious. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment, making it quiet and pleasant to sleep. The beds are comfortable, the showers are nice, and the central heating works well. The location is excellent, within walking distance of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and museums. Diego is kind, responds immediately to any question, and provides precise guidance on how to get there. Thank you, Diego."

Nieves is a great host, welcoming and available. The apartment is spacious, very well equipped, very close to the metro which allows access in 20 minutes to the main sites of Madrid. On-site parking is a real plus in Madrid (3008 as far as we are). In short, a really great apartment... only downside, it's an apartment with neighbors who speak very loudly:-)

Santiago is an amazing host—kind, attentive, and always available when needed. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. The space is small, but cozy and inviting, with a warm, homely feel. All the pretty plants made it feel like a genuine home rather than one of those impersonal apartments with plastic decor. It’s also very clean and well-maintained. Oh and the bed is super comfy! If I could give him 6 stars, I would! Highly recommended 100%!

Wow! Juan Antonio tracked our flight and saw we were delayed and accommodated us upon arrival. He graciously walked through the house and functions, shared tips on museums, recommended great running trails, and left a lovely continental breakfast for us. We were a group of four adults and four teens and the space was perfect (no kids had to share beds!) there were plenty of linens, and the living room set up allowed for kids to play games while adults chatted, and the shower water pressure was fantastic. You are steps from Plaza de Espana and Temple Debod and less than 10 minutes walking to the palace. The area had tons of dining options and felt incredibly safe.

He is an exceptional host - incredibly responsive, understanding, and provided fantastic local recommendations and helpful information. When we made a mistake with our booking, he accommodated us immediately without any hassle. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of four; having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms was a real luxury. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a bus station and within walking distance to the metro. Plus, the area felt peaceful and secure. We had an amazing experience and would definitely stay at Francisco's place again. Highly recommend and 5 bright stars!

Good, modern appartment. Two smaller bedroom in first (entrance) floor, and another study + suite in lower floor. Lovely view to park. Big windows in living-room provide a spacious feeling. Kitchen fully equipped, as is all else. There is an appartment above, which does allow resonance when excessive movements/steps above. All is all, this appartment is an excellent choice when seeking a stay in Majadahonda or near Madrid (15 minutes away).

Spectacular location! We were looking for accommodation near the IFEMA fairgrounds and we couldn't be any closer, just 5 minutes away. In addition, there are several restaurants within walking distance of the house, which made our work stay at this house easy. Very smooth communication with the host. In addition, very good hospitality, the house has everything, sugar, milk, infusions, coffee. In fact, we've repeated this year.

Very good value for money, with a good view and a nice overall atmosphere. The full-size kitchen was a great bonus, making the stay even more convenient. Would definitely recommend!

We are senior nomads so stay in lots of accommodations. This is exactly what you want--clean, safe, quiet, well stocked, comfortable bed, walkable and very near public transportation. I would love to duplicate this apartment every where we go!

It was my first experience with Airbnb and the truth is that it surprised us in a good way. I traveled with my wife and daughter and we really loved the service received and the closeness he showed. I recommend it 100% not only for the host and the accommodation itself, but also because it is a quiet area and close to the subway to go downtown (about a 10-minute walk). It is ideal for families with children as there are parks nearby and in the building itself. We will definitely stay here again if it's available the next time we go.
