Morten and Sue are truly wonderful hosts. They personally welcomed us on arrival and showed us everything important. We felt immediately comfortable and our stay was just fantastic. The location of the house is perfect for exploring the south coast. We went from Mandal to Arendal and also to Hillesand. The house really offers everything to relax and is incredibly big and spacious. We could use the terrace for breakfast almost every day. It is so wonderful to start the day there in peace and with a view of nature. If it rains, there are also 2 cozy conservatories in the house as an alternative. The sauna, hot tub and natural pool are an absolute highlight that we also used daily. It's really all in top condition and we can only praise the house and its hosts in the highest tones.

Amazing south country house for rental

Great space and very central in Grimstad. Patio overlooking the entrance for Grimstad harbor, covered and very nice location. Smartly decorated house if was nicely located with a short distance to everything in Grimstad city. Perfect for us. The host was right, the best strawberries we've tasted in a long time :) Informative and pleasant host, recommended!

The property is very cosy and stylish. There is a steep staircase, but it can be secured well through a grid. Since we were traveling with small children, this was great. Bjorn goals and his wife are very likeable and the kids had a lot of fun with the chickens and the sheep. The surrounding area has plenty to offer (lakes with swimming opportunities - one in Birkeland directly, Kristiansand, Jettegrytene).

I am completely thrilled and still a little wistful to have to leave the accommodation again. Wenche is an incredibly friendly host. I felt very welcome in a moment. The place is a dream and I hope to visit it more often in the future. There really is nothing to complain about, an all-round perfect experience! ☺️

Extremely beautiful house with a magical garden. Very good location, calm street but close to the town center, and absolutely perfect for families. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had a lovely time there, everything was as described and Tiril was a great host. We would love to come again.

Large single-family home in Southern Norway

Large and nice house only a short walk from Grimstad city center. Took 10-15 min to walk before we were in the pedestrian street. Views of a large strawberry field, where it is possible to both buy or pick yourself. Short drive to Groos bathing area. A short half hour to Dyreparken. We were 7 adults and 2 small children. Nice with five bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living rooms when you are many. Laundry room also came with a good time when you have small children. The trampoline in the garden and table tennis table on the ground floor were popular Large and nice terrace with evening sun, gas grill and awning. Had a great stay in Grimstad. Great southern village. Additionally, we were lucky that there happened a lot in the city the week we were there. The house would definitely recommend. Marianne is very nice, responds quickly and provided many great tips on what to do in the city.

incredibly cozy apartment that exceeded all expectations ! I'll have a great time my wife has had a 🙌 great time with all of the restaurants outside a few steps away . very cozy balcony with lots of sun yoke no noise from the city life 🙌 can be highly recommended! the next time we are going to Arendal we will know where to stay :) 10/10 🙏😊

A hidden little gem. We had a lovely stay here and will be happy to come back🤩 Cozy hosts who work hard to repeatedly thrive. Tok is a drive to the porter one of the days and was on the rocks in the sun there. Highly recommend. Thank you for this time 🤗

We had 14 nice days at Jegertunet in Perleporten. Everything we needed was there, thought there was a washing machine in the apartment-it wasn't, but Ingunn solved it by giving us access somewhere else. Quiet and nice area, found several nice swimming areas in the area. The boat to Risør is and great.

Lovely house in great surroundings. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely beds with clean pillows and duvets. Easy access and nice information about all the practicalities we needed in advance and along the way. We were 10 adults during our stay. Recommend this place. Absolutely great stay in every way!
