Super host and beautiful nature with a fantastic location on the lake. This is wilderness and for those who love simple accommodations with a beautiful view of the lake.

We spent two wonderful weeks in the cabin right on the fjord. The cabin corresponds exactly to the photos. There is everything you need; you can bring your own bed linen and towels. The check-in/ out via the key box went smoothly, everything was clean and in the kitchen there was everything necessary to prepare and store. We used the boat for paddle tours, right next to the cabin there is a small beach. In the surroundings there are beautiful lakes and hiking trails, until Risør, Grimstad, Arendal and Kragerø it is not far, otherwise you can also easily spend time "only" at the hut. We also met the very nice hosts, the communication always went smoothly before and during the stay. We would keep driving to the cabin and spend our holidays there.

Thank you for a great stay. It was so nice we had the opportunity to revisit the beautiful cabin “Knatten”. There's no place in the world as amazing as Risør and Barmen. We very much hope to revisit the cabin another time.

The house had a fantastic location with beautiful views. The photos were exactly as it was in real life. The washing machine, the dryer, the perfectly furnished kitchen, the fantastic roof terrace...everything perfect. We will be happy to come back🌞🌞🌞👍👍👍.

Fantastic stay at Marianne's place, would definitely go back. A beautiful apartment in an interesting building (there is a cabinet full of historical finds in the hallway outside the apartment!). Spacious comfort surrounded by bags of history, tasteful and homely decor, clean and guest friendly set up. 100% recommend. (Although perhaps not perfect for very tall people!)

We had a wonderful weekend at John and Sabine place. The view is amazing and the house is cozy, welcoming and very nicely thought. There was all we needed and more :) We will try to visit again in summer :) Thank you

We were 6 adults and 4 children staying with Jan Erik's family. The house is big enough for all of us. The beach is private, and located just outside the house over and down the road where the kids could find activities closest to all day. 3 minutes to drive to the nearest Rema 1000. Great and quite neighborhood. We would gladly came again.
