Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Apple Valley

We felt right at home here! This space is perfect for kids, and even has toys, swimmie diapers and a high chair if you didn't bring your own. The attached room to the master bedroom was perfect for my two daughters to stay in too. There's also a beautiful view of the mountains when sitting in the hot tub! We will definitely be keeping this house in mind for when we come back to Big Bear.

The house was beautiful! I would recommend to anyone staying in Big Bear. The house was in a beautiful location and was super private. Everything in the house was clean and very comfy. Loved it!!

Place was extremely clean. We loved having the place being pet friendly. The rooms were organized, the big beds were comfortable. Note the twin bed has a hard memory foam mattress but overall okay. The lake is within walking distance as well as the village. The host is very responsive and very helpful. Everything in the place works great, we went to get away from the city and it was quite peaceful. Hot tub worked fine and the deck was ready to be used. Our dogs loved the place plenty of space for them to roam and explore, the inside was also quite nice for them and the host had some snacks for them very thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again!

Mario & Ivette’s cabin was even better in person! Pictures were accurate, but it was cozier and cleaner than we could have imagined. We loved the walkability to the slopes and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Thank you for such a wonderful stay…we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Lou’s place. Very cute details and very clean. Quiet and peaceful area with the beautiful forest behind the property. Comfortable beds, extra blankets and towels. Lou was very communicative and great with weather updates letting us know what to expect with heavy snow. We enjoyed our stay and had a great experience.

Excellent stay with comfortable bedding, plenty of towels, and full kitchen. I appreciate they had some travel size soaps/ shampoo, and a Keurig with K cups, ensuring a smooth first morning. Location is about half a mile from a variety of grocery stores and pharmacy , 2 miles from the slopes. Exceptionally clean and cozy we had superior service with the host. Wouldn’t change a thing and highly recommend.

A great stay! Worked perfectly for what we needed (traveling for work). Smelled good and everything was very clean. Loved the chairs on the front lawn and it was a nice neighborhood (surrounded by families playing in their yards). Only thing is the trains and planes are loud in the area, if it’s not something you’re used to. Would definitely stay again if traveling to the area again!

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the quick responsiveness from Luis if we had a question. We would definitely be back!

We loved staying at this beautiful cottage. Impressed by the attention to detail! Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Elizabeth is a great host, very easy to communicate with. Thank you for the cheese a crackers - we really enjoyed that.

Marcos and Patricia were great hosts! We stayed for a week and were very appreciative of how helpful they were. They made good company when we made ourselves available and we also had plenty of privacy in the house. Outdoor space is gorgeous. Their four adorable dogs made great snuggle buddies while my boyfriend was at work 😆😆. They even picked the lemon tree and let us take a few home. Would recommend!

The house is very comfortable. My family loved it. It had a lot of space. The beds were very comfortable. The lake was just a few steps away. We loved it. Jacuzzi, we made barbecue, the kitchen is very well-equipped, the house is very spacious. Next time we travel for big Beard we will stay with Elizabeth.

I had a very pleasurable experience staying at John’s! It’s amazing with a big group of people because there are so many rooms with huge couch space where you can hang out depending on the vibe. The place was basically spotless and was equipped with all the essentials. John was responsive and was so helpful with any requests. Would highly recommend staying here!

A very well cared-for guest room, in a private home. Easy to enter. Dedicated off-street parking. Plenty of street parking for second car. Area felt safe. Gorgeous plants around the front door of the unit. And then more plants around the shared pool area. Very quiet at night; a residential area. Spotless kitchen and nice linens. Well thought-out in terms of chargers and amenities inside the unit. Wouldd stay there again for sure, especially in summer, with the pool.

The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable! Basic necessities for kitchen and bathroom were provided. Extra towels, bedding fans, and heaters were also available to use. The kids enjoyed the boardgames. Audrey was very proactive and communicative when an issue with one of the trees on her property that posed a problem from a storm few days prior. She was trying to remedy the problem and even allowed us the option to stay at her property while I contact AirBNB customer support to assist with what our options were if we needed to relocate . unfortunately, Airbnb customer service had me on hold for 1hr before I hung up. Audrey was understanding and flexible with our situation and provided us the option to stay and even extended the time of check out. We highly recommend this property and host! Thanks Audrey!

This place was perfect for a mini getaway with our pups! The boys loved having a large, fenced yard to run around in. We were within walking distance of some beautiful hiking trails, which we all enjoyed—and even spotted some wild donkeys along the way! The cabin is only a 10–15 minute drive from Big Bear Lake, making it super convenient for exploring the area. We especially loved how quiet and cozy the cabin was. It was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge.

To be honest Marianne made me feel like I was staying with family. She was very informative, helpful,friendly and very much invested in our comfort. Thank you for attention to the details that made our stay so memorable. I definitely recommend that if you are lucky enough to be selected by her that you run and book now!!!

I came back for my 4th visit, just me and my dog, because it’s such a great relaxation spot, inside and out. I love the deck, kitchen, hot tub and walking the neighborhood. Sandra is very responsive and friendly, so I always know I can reach out if I have a question or want a recommendation. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend her cabin! It’s adorable!

It was really nice and open and clean, looked under the beds and there was trash under it. Despite the little things, there was clean towels, clean bedding and the bunk beds there was a lot of space, i think it may be a queen size. It was decent price but the time we booked it i just wish the last room wasnt a bunk bed. It was in a really nice area. nice and private lots of parking. Communicating to the host was really easy and clearly communicated, how to gt there and get into the place

Christina’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Cozy little place with a beautiful view. Christina was a great host and very accommodating and so sweet. We accidentally damaged her electric water heater and I wanted to reimburse her, but she insisted it was OK! Definitely will booked this place again sometime in March

The cabin was great. We really appreciated the little details put in by the hosts that made our stay much more enjoyable. Communication was great and hosts responded quickly to all our questions and concerns. Two (minor) things that keep me from giving the place a perfect rating are the dog hair. I understood that the place was pet friendly but we did encounter a bit of dog hair on the floors, couches, and some of the throw blankets. Also the tv remote for the living room tv was in rough shape and made using the tv a bit frustrating at times. Again, these two things did not ruin the trip at all but worth noting. Overall it was a great family trip and we would definitely recommend the cabin to any one of our friends.
