Monthly Rentals in Anse Gaulettes

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Silvia warmly welcomed us at the harbor and helped with our luggage. The accommodation is very close to the harbor and the amazing Natural Bar restaurant. We could easily walk everywhere, and Silvia even provided bicycles for a great price. The place was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped, with a water dispenser to avoid buying bottled water. There was a washing machine, and Silvia provided laundry detergent. Her husband was also friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our time and would love to come back! Just a note: there’s no air conditioning downstairs, but it cools down quickly, and a fan is available. We especially loved the outdoor shower after biking! Highly recommend! Thanks to Sylvia and her Husband. We had a wonderful time in La Digue!

You will find this home a place of peace and beauty. Sitting high up from the main port/town, you are among the treetop with a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance. For those who are active and fit, the walk up/down from town center to the flat/house will get your heart pumping. We made our trek down late in the mornings. We rented bikes for the days were on La Dique and were happy to have them as our main form of transportation. We rode to/from various beach spots of La Dique. Stopped by a wonderful place for take out that George recommended. End of day we parked our bikes at a location coordinated by Geroge and Pamela. So no need to try to push them up the hill. Super easy. Then we made the trek back up to the flat. Be prepared for a workout. Have a couple of cold beers waiting for you upon your arrival. Makes it well worth your efforts. There are a couple of small grocery stores and a good bakery with decent selection of food and/or pastries available.

Very clean apartment close to the centre of la passe, but not on the main road, so it was not noisy at all. Fabio and Esma are super nice hosts and gave us very good and honest tips for our stay at La Digue.
