The place is gorgeous and the on site host Aquiles is such a great person. But be aware that because it is in the very unique cloud forest, it can be misty and wet quite a bit of the time. Also realize that the road back to the property is narrow and littered with large pot holes. 4 wheel drive is recommended but not required.

I cannot say enough good things about Nancy and her BnB. It is in a beautiful setting on a mountainside coffee farm. It is approx 1 hour away from San Jose airport unless traffic is heavy. Arenal volcano area is about 2 hours north and Jaco beaches about 2 1/2 hours southwest. It is a quiet relaxed place; not an area of exciting nightlife. I made new friends there simply by walking along the roadside and stopping to talk with them. And I will treasure the time I spent simply relaxing and chatting with Nancy. Pura vida.

This cozy and spacious chalet is highly recommended. Both splendid hosts, attentive and warm. We feel super safe and disconnected from everything. We enjoyed a magical view and a fresh, healthy climate. We will return again!

I love this place, it’s everything I want out of somewhere I would live. It’s very quiet and safe, there’s a little park and a couple of markets literally around the corner. The neighbors are polite. Neighborhood is really good. Dayana is super cool and a great host.
