Pleasant stay aboard the houseboat, the studio is functional, the instructions for access and use are very clear. The terrace is very pleasant, especially with the return of sunny days. The location is ideal, there are plenty of restaurants, very nice cafes and places to discover. We highly recommend:)

We had an amazing stay on the boat! Our group of eight friends found everything clean and well-maintained. The two showers were a big plus, and we loved the common area for hanging out. The Bluetooth speaker was a great touch too!

Superb stay very close to the Amsterdam city center. Very spacious, high quality and convenient. In particular we enjoyed the fire place (which was pre-arranged for us before our arrival), the fully equipped kitchen and of course the two very friendly cats.

Sandra is a high quality boat captain, pedagogue, anxious to share her passion for sailing, mobilizing the energy of the passengers. His tips for choosing the circuit and the harbor steps are wise and we were looking forward to following them. This historic boat (it is over 100 years old), in perfect condition is ideal to make its first weapons of sailors. The whole family was delighted to participate in the maneuvers. Very nice ship in a great location in Leiden! Each cabin has a small bathroom. We really enjoyed the trip.

Peaceful and pleasant place

Harold's cozy houseboat is ideal for a few days' stay in Amsterdam. By public transport you are super fast in the city center! The houseboat is cozily furnished and it's a little adventure to stay in if you're not used to it. Harold is very friendly and even gave us a fruit basket and a bottle of wine to welcome us!

We can really recommend staying on the boat. The location is something special, sitting in the wheelhouse watching the sun go down and the boats coming and going was so relaxing, you are surrounded by water birds and the gentle sounds of the harbour. Soooo easy to get into Amsterdam on the bus and tube. If you want to see more of the area get the bus to Edam, walk to Vollendam then ferry to Marken and a bus back home, great cafes in every town and all are fascinating to walk round. We feel very lucky to have spent time on Johanna.

Very nice and new experience. Was really out the way of Amsterdam city centre but the stay on the boat was worth it.

Amazing place to stay at, super warm and cozy, while at the same time being spacious as well. We went as a larger group of people and were very comfortable, the host is very kind and responsive as well. Will 100% be back and suggest everyone to stay at this ship :)

Miriam is very friendly and owns a nice dog. She was very helpful. The Airbnb was clean and really great. The check-in information via email was very helpful and clear. We would love to come back to this great Airbnb!

We had a wonderful stay on the boat! With 9 women in one room, it was wonderfully cuddly – exactly what we wanted for our little girls trip. The beds were comfortable, the boat totally cozy and quiet – a perfect retreat after our activities in the city. The connection by train to Amsterdam was great, we could easily reach everything. Thank you so much for this special place – we felt completely comfortable and highly recommend it!

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re considering staying here, just do it! The location was incredible. We were in the middle of everything and it was very convenient to the train and tram stations. The houseboat itself was perfect. It is small, but that didn’t bother us one bit. We loved watching all the boats go by from the comfort of the kitchen table. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

We were a group of 9 friends and we were very comfortable. Very practical and authentic to the place. We recommend the experience. We had a problem with the heating at first but Renco took care of it and everything was perfect. Thank you very much for everything

Our hosts left adult and kid-friendly treats for us upon arrival- and the jesters of hospitality made me feel very welcomed! Family of 5- kids 13, 7 and 4. Apprehensive at first - but this was the best decision we made the whole trip. Unique experience for our girls, walking distance to great restaurants, ice cream, bakery. Uber was super easy for pickup at the end of the street. Hosts were responsive with our delayed arrival, and question on the heater. There’s a washer/dryer, hair dryer, k cup style coffee maker. It’s very quiet- my girls arguing over who could punch in the code was the loudest I heard the whole trip. If you are surfing for a location like I was for your family friendly Amsterdam trip- book this boat for 3+ nights- I’m telling you it’s worth it. Mom approved! :) 🏆🏆🏆

We had a great time, it is a super location in the city. We could always ask questions, which were answered quickly. I can therefore highly recommend it as a group accommodation!

We had 3 very peaceful and comfortable days on Amalia, great central location yet out of the crowds, charming boat, friendly host!

We had a pleasant stay and super good luck with the weather. Communication with Xandra was quick and smooth! She is a super sweet lady who gave us a warm welcome. We got an explanation about the ship and she immediately helps with any further questions about the area. Certainly repeatable again!!
