Great experience! Spent a few days in Amsterdam and the houseboat was the perfect place with a tram and 8 minute walk away. Cute bars and restaurants near by also!

I am thankful for Eric’s trust and hospitality, his place felt like home to us and was close to everything we needed (beautiful park, supermarkets, restaurants). Eric was a very thoughtful host and I really hope to be back:) really beautiful and joyful home, thank you Eric & family.

We (4 adults) had a fantastic stay on the houseboat. It was larger than I expected it would be from the photos. Very comfortable and in a great location. Would highly recommend for a fun Amsterdam experience.

We had a lovely time in Anouk’s houseboat. The houseboat was clean and spacious. Communication was great and directions to get there were clear and easy to follow. We had a rainy day during our stay so we stayed in and enjoyed the houseboat. Highly recommend. We hope to come back again sometime.

We loved our stay at Karina’s place. The addition of the bikes really made the place a perfect stay in Amsterdam.

Everything went well. We had a very nice time in Amsterdam. The boat is in a very beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Everything was as expected.

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

Peaceful but very isolated, great unique stay. Transport very cut off but very peaceful and tranquil.

Easy to find. Host speaks only Dutch, but has prepared well with a translation app. The location is very quiet and you can walk to the bus to Amsterdam

Wonderful and unique experience at the houseboat! It was spacious, unique, close to groceries, shops, and restaurants, an easy walk to public transportation and, really, to many sights in Amsterdam. We all (my children especially) fell in love with Pepper the friendly cat. Fern was so easy to work with and super responsive whenever we had a question. We really appreciated the kitchen; it had all the cooking utensils, plates, pots, etc. that we could ask for, as well as some oil, spices, etc. The rest of the boat was comfortable, charming, and modern. A fantastic home base while in Amsterdam.

I really wanted the experience of staying in a canal boat house in Amsterdam and Hanneke’s place did not disappoint. She was very sweet and communicated with us very well. We especially enjoyed the rooftop seating area and the living room area where you felt immersed in the river life. The little ducks who came over when you opened the windows to be fed were adorable! The shower had very nice water pressure and lots of hot water. Hanneke was very responsive anytime I reached out and made us feel very at home in her home. The rental was close to tram stations which made it fairly easy for us to get around the city, once we learned how to do it. Her kitchen was very well stocked and she makes great use of a smaller space.

This houseboat was perfect! So stylish and in the utmost perfect location. Walkable from the train station. Grocery store is one block over and the cutest coffee shops (Actual coffee from the bean not the other kind) and pubs. We were there during the Taylor Swift concert and Holland's big soccer match. We slept like babies even with the large crowds. The little seating area facing the water for perfect for morning coffee. Jordann neighborhood is the perfect place to stay!

Fantastic location - very central with all attractions walkable. Loved staying in a houseboat. Magical! The Christmas lights were wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We returned for a second long stay and it is still wonderful! Great location just far enough out of Centrum to be missing all the tourists but still close enough to easily get in there every day. Liz is a terrific communicator and it is super easy to get in and out. The house boat is very comfortable and well maintained. I hope to return next year!

Looks better than the picture. Coming from NYC, my first I was a little shell shocked by how “away” the home is from the central area… really the community seems “away” from the world. Once I woke up took a walk a hopped on a tram #26, which is just around the corner, I was able to see and feel how close to everything I was. In about an 1/2 hour or so I was in the hustle and bustle of the central and just that quick I was back. The home is stunningly beautiful with beautiful views to match. Their photos don’t do it justice. I did end up ordering for Flink, something like Instacart. I needed food and it went to a neighbors home and they brought it over to me. They even put the Ben and Jerry’s in the freezer. Great city, great home and great friendly neighbors. Thank you for being connected to my 1st time in Amsterdam… it won’t be my last!!!

This unique spot was perfect for enjoying the art and food of Amsterdam. 30ish minutes on public transit to basically anything and walking distance to great museums and restaurants. We also enjoyed the neighbors and their recommendations.

What a great stay! The weather wasn’t very nice and being November I was worried I would be cold but the bedding was so comfy cozy I slept great even with jet lag and a cold! The water pressure and really hot water for my shower were better than any I’ve come across! It was easy and close to get to the bus when it’s rainy, cold or you have luggage. But getting to central station is very walkable as well. Miriam was very responsive with any questions I had. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the stay at the boat house a lot! The location is beautiful and we loved the views as well as accessibility to the places around. There are assigned co-hosts who are very responsive if you have any questions or issues, big thanks to Philo for helping us with everything and Nina for calling us to check up if everything is great. The boat has everything needed for a stay - comfy beds and sofa, toaster and coffee machine, bean bags to sit and cozy living room. The kitchen might not have enough pans, but overall is good if you prefer to cook on your own. It's not a 100inch TV as it was marked in the description due to typo, but it's pretty good if you want to watch some netflix or youtube at night. There is street parking nearby, which is quite pricey, but hosts can advise on the parking house nearby. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back again!

We were looking for the peaceful and comfortable home to stay outside Amsterdam's nightlife madness and this place exceeded our expectations. No road noise, calming water view, quiet neighbourhood. In the apartment there is literally everything you will need for your stay. The owners put a lot of heart into equipping it and furnishing it beyond what you would expect from the Airbnb. We honestly felt like the owners want everyone staying here to have a great experience. The bus stop is close and will take you either to do center or to any connection you may require. You cals also rent two bikes from the owners for a fairly decent price if you want to blend into the local vibes of Amsterdam.

Such a great place to stay in Amsterdam - from location, to transit, to the home itself. Femke was extremely fast in communications, and cares about her guests. Could not have been happier with the stay and will be sure to return! Thank you Femke!
